I don't understand, why not allow your citizens to stay in their homes and simply weld the exterior doors shut for the isolation period?  Didn't that work in Wuhan?

Becaue everyone in the huilding was exposed, thanks to stuff like stairwells, elevators, and lunch breaks when they move around. Also because fi they went home, they would expose everyone at home with them. And on the way hpome, they would carpool, take trains, take buses.

You know, for the same reason we close our workplaces in order to stop an airborne virus, and that is the only way to stop it from spreading everywhere.

Covid doesn't spreads from person-to-person. It spreads from air-to-person.

Still not explaining why you can't just weld the building shut to keep them in.  Perfectly CCP solution right there, just do it, again.  Like in 2020.

I'm surprised that Chinese authorities allowed this story to circulate, seeing as it is a NEGATIVE side effect of covid in China.
