I am trying to understand why this article is supposed to be interesting.  "Guy appears as a minor character in a TV show".   So far as I know, he's not famous enough to be notable.  "Astral base wizard"?  Erm... OK.

best scifi series?  maybe if they quit letting Robert Rodriguez direct episodes.

This.

Had no idea who the dude was before and less so after the scene. Also, did they REALLY need to expand to show Fennec getting her bionics? We knew the moment she showed them in the Mandalorian.

It's seriously like the writers are just retreading the same shiat over and over, and not actually moving the needle on the show. Great, we've had a bunch of flashbacks and know how he escaped from the Sarlacc, WE as the audience already knew his armor wasn't in there.

Let's see the actual crime lord shenanigans and action already. Seems like this episode was literally filler just for the ending teaser.

The entire series so far feels like filler.  We know he escaped the Sarlac pit.  We know he got his armor back.  We know he's on Jabba's former throne.  We know Fennec's by his side.

The show hasn't established enough in the way of 'current events' to earn any interest in flashbacks filling in unnecessary detail.

Disney, using one property to sell another.

Maybe Boba Fett should give up crime bossery. He is kind of an incompetent wuss.

It's a $7K bass, if he's not playing it all the time, why does he have it?

The same reason most bass players own basses that cost thousands of dollars: to put them on a rack so they look cool on the wall.

I love this show, just like I love The Mandalorian.

People complain because each episode is not some brilliant, twisty thrill ride, but... that's why I love them so much.  In recent years, I've become way too aware of how writers pack so many twists and reversals into every hour of TV -- ever since Breaking Bad, it's been an arms race to tease, reverse, pull the rug, and make grand reveals non-stop.

I'm tired of it. I'm tired of your perfectly-calibrated clockwork narratives without an ounce of fat.  I grew up with The Lord of the Rings and Star Trek: TNG, stories that have a lot of fat on them.  I grew up with Akira and Wings of Honneamise, bleak movies that never once felt like the creators were trying to "entertain" me.  They were trying to awe me and intrigue me, which is more challenging.

Boba Fett gives me what I love the most -- the feeling that I'm seeing some other world, some legend from the past slowly unfolding.  It can be plodding.  It can be clumsy and weird.  But it feels real.  Not as calculated.  The writer aren't stuffing candy in my face and grabbing my dick every five minutes because they're afraid I'll get bored and change the channel.

I am so thankful that Disney has Jon Favreau to make this happen.

Yeah, bass player.  That's what I said.

I first saw Thundercat in the Mac Miller tiny desk.  He plays bass on song two and is freaking awesome.  This performance was two weeks before Miller OD'd.  All these songs with the tight backing band are great.  Check out Thundercat's own tiny desk too where he really shreds.
