Sometimes it's really tough to take the safety... always better the give up 2 points over 7. But, when you are fighting for a playoff win, it's kind of understandable to not think straight.

He was exposed the second half  of the season though... when he gets pressured he reverts back to college QB... Especially without Hopkins to bail him out with a hail Murray catch.

Difference is, I think Murray can learn from this, Wentz cannot. Wentz is always gonna Wentz.

Wentz is a phenomenally bad QB.

At least Kyler was trying to get it to Rondale. Carson just threw it at a group of lineman.

It's totally not a fair comparison.

Tom Brady's last play as a Patriot was essentially the same thing. I guess that means he's Carson Wentz too. lol

I'm not a huge Murray fan, but the guy absolutely is a really good QB and will figure sh*t out.

I thought he refused the vaccine

I think of this more as pulling a Cutler, since I was at a Bucs/Bears game once and watched the same thing happen to Cutler

Big Dick Nick!  It's easy to remember because it rhymes.

The weird thing is that he's not.  He's got all the skills- if you watch some of his plays from 2017 he manages stuff that almost nobody else can.  Even this year with Indy he was good- which QB would you rather have?

27/7 TD/int, 62% completion, 6.9yd average
36/15 TD/int, 63% completion, 6.8yd average

Wentz is the first, Josh Allen the 2nd.

What he is is fragile, both physically and mentally.  A #1 Qb doesn't freak out when the GM drafts another QB in the 2nd round- he assumes that the new guy is the backup and goes on playing.   He doesn't go into a must win game against the worst team in the league and shiat the bed.

Hurts isn't as good a QB as Wentz physically, but mentally he's leagues ahead.

Murray seemed to play exceptionally bad in the shadow of his own goalpost.

That's fixable.

Wentz - Trumper.

I agree, with the following addition: Wentz was broken before Jalen Hurts. Foles winning the SuperBowl, and then the subsequent 100%-predictable Philly sports-radio-made-up "QB controversy", rattled him. He had never *NOT* been the most praised, most important, most celebrated athlete on the field. There's a reason he rushed back from his injury, when he should have been out for at least another month; there's a reason he refused to admit that doing so screwed up his back and his throwing motion until he was already 3 months into the 2018 season; there's a reason that there were times he looked like he was trying to be an Aaron Rogers-like "superhero", and attempting things beyond his (or his receivers) capabilities, rather than just taking the smart play.

The drafting of Hurts was basically just the last brick on an already fragile ego.

This is why they need to finish college. So they understand that giving up 2 points is better than giving up 6

No, it's valid. Due to his politics and rw religious grounds bullshiat, Carson and many of the Colts unvaccinated starters got Covid in the last few weeks before the end of the season. Whether or not they were "cleared" by the last minute CDC/NFL bullshiat 5 day rule change, none of the unvaxxed players were physically ready to play a game and got bounced out of playoff contention. As a Colt's fan, it pisses me the f*ck off that they threw a once promising season away for bullshiat that could have been avoided.

But it's giving up 2 points and then you give the ball to the other team. It's potentially giving up to 10 points. If you give up 6, at least your team gets the ball back

Watching Peyton Manning gnash his teeth over how Kyler was playing last night was hysterical. He looked like he was about to have a blood vessel burst.

/That and because he had mic issues all night
