FTFA : ""Nobody warned me that it was against the rules," the prime minister said, adding: "I would have remembered that."

C'mon bruh

Responding to his latest statement, Labour's deputy leader Angela Rayner said: "Boris Johnson clearly knows it's the end of the road.

"He's the prime minister, he set the rules, he didn't need anyone to tell him that the party he attended broke them.

Angela gets it.

Is he just trying out the GQP strategy to see if it will work there too?

You know, just lie, no matter how goddam dumb the lie is, and dare anybody to call you on it with any real authority.

No, his headlights are on.
I didn't wake up today thinking I would see Boris Johnson's erect nipples, but this is our lives now.

At first I thought Boris was OK because he meant that John Cleese couldn't look down his nose at me anymore but then Trump so crap.

Didn't a ministry that reports to him put out the rules?

Also, what kind of toxic working environment is he running where people don't feel comfortable bringing up important stuff?

He is actually right to do that. Ties are disease vectors in hospitals.

That Boris "I shook hands with everybody" Johnson, who is frequently seen in hospitals without a mask even when told to do so, would actually tuck his tie in for that purpose is patently ridiculous.

That's just 'It's bugging me flapping around and I want it out of the way."  I don't need another reason not to wear one, they're patently ridiculous and a pain in the ass, and serve no functional purpose at all to boot

Technically  "Ignrantia Juris nemi nem excusat"  (ignorance of the law excuses no one)

I know this because some architect thought it would be a real hoot to carve that into the stone lintel on above the main doors of my law School

Absolute bilge, the concept of Boris Johnson not knowing something is just ridiculous. He happens to be really smart, as evidenced by this video of him talking to Mary Beard, another really smart person.

Greece vs Rome, with Boris Johnson and Mary Beard

The idea that Boris Johnson would be ignorant of the law, particularly one of his own, is just so silly you must all feel like absolute fools.

Minor correction: neminem is one word. (Accusative form of nemo).

During the COVID "quarantine" I started watching YouTube videos about sovereign citizens and so-called 1stAmendment auditors. Just a couple of weeks ago, a legendary dirtbag auditor decided to act like a wildman in a Washington state police station, and was eventually arrested and charged with making threats against the officers. He was released on bail, and thought it would be a good idea to return to the same station a few days later and livestream himself while peeping through the windows and trying to gain access to a restricted parking areas. As he was arrested a second time in less than a week, he was dragged away shouting "nobody told me I couldn't come back here!"

If "nobody told me I couldn't" isn't an excuse for an obese, unwashed, brain damaged social misfit living in his car, it's not an excuse for the British Prime Minister.

There are multiple videos of him reading the rules on TV.
