I've seen an conservative Okie change their stance on something.

I meet a couple on a dive boat off Australia.  He was a doctor from Tulsa and she was much younger and very appreciative of the holiday trip downunder.  I asked him if he was from that religious Oral Roberts hospital and he said no and mentioned where he worked.  "Oh you would know Mr X then?"   He said he worked for Mr X. I knew that Mr X was the hospital president.  I said Mr X oldest daughter had considered his same specialty but went into Vet school and was now working at the zoo.  His GF asked me about how she liked it and I pointed out she brought home lion cubs for a holiday to make sure they were properly taken care of so they had lions cubs tormenting their cat. At that point the doctor decided I knew way too much about his bosses family.  His poor girlfriend became a niece sometime during that trip and had to stopped sitting on his lap.

wademh: Only 5 in 100 getting really sick, instead of 10 in 100 is milder. But when 3 times as many get sick, you get more people needing a hospital bed. And it may be closer to 4 times as many getting sick because many people are simply skipping the whole getting tested part unless they get real sick.


If ambulance A leaves a scene 4 miles away at 30 miles per hour for city central hospital at 8:30am with a sick unvaccinated COVID patient, and ambulance B leaves a scene 12 miles away at 70 miles per hour for city central hospital at 8:46am with a sick unvaccinated COVID patient, when does the gofundme and prayer warrior post get put on facebook?

I encountered the same scenario just three years ago and multiple times as my father was going thru bouts of severe rhuematoid arthritis and because of the side effects of the treatments, his organs were failing.  He had to go to the hospital ER multiple times back then.  Each time, he spent at the min. 24 hrs. in the ER waiting for beds to open up to be moved to a room.  It was the same scenario painted in the article, and all anyone here thinks is it's something new and most likely Trump's fault.

I've actually heard rumors of hospitals doing just this, giving gift cards apologizing for ER waits and directing them to nearby hospitals (of competing health systems) so that their load is lightened.

Since when is HIPAA information politicized?  Last I checked I wasn't going to be lambasted for not getting my colon checked till I am 50 or 55.  But it seems the court of public "I think so" are now mandating vaccines?  Like they had a vaccine.  Now all the variants and now gotta get a booster because spins wheel....Bill Clinton said so?

Last I checked medicine and the US government are not usually on the same page.  There has been WAYYYYY too much revealed by congressional hearing from big pharma and government.  Cough cough medicare, medicaide are examples....  But it seems with this vaccine people are blindly trusting our government to offer sound medical advice in the first time since time was discovered?

for the record I got 2 vaccine and it's 2nd shot.  now I need to do another booster and one every 6 mo?  And on top of that I can get it and trasmit it?  So why vaccine?

I was talking with the wife.  What is alarming to me most is:  I can get covvid and after 5 days go back to work, and possibly spread it....But I can be fired for not getting the vaccine.  So I can go spread it knowingly, but be fired for NOT getting a vaccine?  That make total sense to everyone??

Sexy Jesus: It is easy to fix. They do it already, it's called triage.  Two people present, one vaxxed, one unvaxxed and you give the bed to the vaxxed.


Difficulty: Everyone has a fake vax card, even the legitimately vaxed, because they ran out of vax cards and it was easier to buy the fake ones and fill those out at the vaccination centers.

Ok. Imma bout to get in trouble.

I have 2 nieces. I include them in this statement.

All citizens of the United States should have to report to a vaccination center. If they have no REAL reason to not get an vaccine (no religious exceptions, no exceptions for anyone who won't simply die from inoculation), either get the jab or a tap from a restrained bolt to the base of the skull (no reason to waste drugs or bullets). I'm tired of stupid people farking up life for people who aren't absolutely the most ignorant, stupid, selfish, farkered, uneducated people in the world.

I was listening to MPR last night and they talked about that case where the hospital in MN was going to stop the ventilator on an antivaxxer but a judge ruled that he had to be transferred to TX instead to get horse paste or some stupid shiat. The hospital transferred him and then issued a statement along the lines of "We are SO SORRY to see you go!"

the only one who ended up in hospital was the antivaxxer. All the rest of em either had mild or no symptoms of any kind.


My friend (says he's registered republican, votes straight dem because of Trump) been fighting for weeks. Fully vaccinated, but terribly unhealthy.

Ex wife, no bigger dem, fully vaccinated, fighting for two weeks, fairly mild but spreading to other parts of her body now. Also very unhealthy.

Daughter-in-law, ok maybe there is a bigger dem, hospitalized for 4 days while preggers. Average American I would say. Younger, no exercise, overworked like you would not believe.

Fauci says vaccinated 20% less likely to develop severe case.

So the governor is having a press conference at 1 about new EOs to keep school opens with the president of the Chamber of Commerce.

At 11, OKC hospitals are having a press conference about how they're at the breaking point.

So guessing it's jailtime for any teacher who calls in sick,

Not that I have but a farker married the sister of the vet so maybe some will show up.
The 1/2 bobcat was just a bit shorter than the cubs but he was about half as wide and his paws were much smaller.  He was far faster but when a cub would get in a good slap, he went across the room.  When they got tired playing, he would sleep on their heads because I guess that is what you do when lions invade your house.  The bobcat normally hung out on a shelf that was a few inches lower than the ceiling. It would jump up, hang on with its front paws and twist its back end into the shelf which was only about half the size it needed to be.

Convince me of what? That there are levels of risk?

No I can't convince grown adults of THAT.

If you had to insure a 90 year old with all the shots or a 10 yr old unvaccinated against covid, which would be more likely to die?

Remove your emotional fear and think.  I know, that's asking a lot.

I only asked for more data than just vaccinated status.
