crackpancake: Since when is HIPAA information politicized?  Last I checked I wasn't going to be lambasted for not getting my colon checked till I am 50 or 55.


You say that, but HIPAA doesn't work the way you think it does. It does provide protection for medically relevant information transmitted between your heathcare provider(s) and your health insurance company.  It doesn't protect against pretty much anything else, including ostracization by members of the public when you obviate that you don't give a damn about public health.
