It was a very good performance, but you should probably read that tweet again.  And then ask yourself how in God's name Kansas City or anyone could have had a better game.

Without looking through the game scripts, I'd guess KC was slightly better on first and second down.

Patrick Mahomes in his MVP season vs. the 2018 Cleveland defense?  Yeah, I can figure out how that happened.

I read in the game thread it had to do with KC penalties causing them to need to gain more yards for first downs.

Well, that was a better season than I'd hoped for back in August, so I'm happy about that. Obviously need to work on the defense this offseason. An embarrassing end to the season, but they were playing with house money at that point so I'm not upset about it.

Neither do Hightower and McCourty.  And Judon, Collins and Van Noy.
Even JC Jackson sucked, and Barmore and Bentley were hurt but they sucked too.  Mills had COVID and that sucked.
Wise and Guy were okayish.
I'll leave out the backups and practice squad players.

This was the only "D" that the Pats had all game.

That is 2 straight games without a punt vs. the Patriots.  I think the Bills might have taken that Monday night loss in a hurricane a bit personally.

As I alluded to in the previous thread, we have come to the point in the career of Darth Hoodie where he starts down the path of the game passing him by. Happens to all the greats. The stuff that happened at the start & end of the season really never happened since the late 90s around here, and I put the blame squarely on inability by him to adapt to the modern game. It wasn't good for a while, but now it's just getting bad.

Ok, how about you take Zimmer and give the Vikings Belichick?

Now these are the Patriots I used to know and loathe!

Kind of amazing how successful Belichick and Brady were. Even with Bledsoe and Tuna, the team would always step on its own dick.

2022-01-16 10:10:25 AM
yeah.. I don't need fancy stats..

the Bills never had a 4th down, and EVERY possession (except the clock out at the end) resulted in a TD.

No turnovers.
No punts.
No FGs.

That's -never- happened before in an NFL game. Best offensive performance of all time without question.

Excluding the final kneel downs, the Bills gained 455 out 455 possible yards.  It was literally a perfect game on offense.

Nothing should be obscure on Fark. Especially that gem of a comment. Still one of the all-time unintentionally funniest things I've ever seen on Fark.

Half of the fun of ESPN Power Rankings is how completely farking ridiculous they are. Like how teams lose position because bye week, or how teams will have big gains for beating bad teams or big drops for losing close games to good teams.

You should probably use milk instead of piss in your Cheerios.

I had no dog last night; hell, I barely pay attention to the AFC at all, but that game was -historic-.
