Maybe it was once owned by Dennis Weaver.

Well the seat looks fairly comfortable for a farm implement and hopefully the clutch won't break.

After the duel is resolved, the losing color will be removed from the Lambo by power sanding with a 60 grit paper.

I've never seen continuous tracks like that on a farm.

Just curious: is this a shifting diagram? And if so, do any of you know how that works? Two gears in the same location? Just curious. Proud to be able to drive stick, but have no technical knowledge of transmissions, much less heavy equipment transmissions.

And, also if it's a shifting diagram, does it actually have "insane" mode?

you could probably have some trouble with bees if your tractor has a paint job like that.

So, I've never driven a tractor but one of the trucks that I drove had a 2-speed axle.  So with those you get 2 speeds in every ratio depending on if you're in hi or lo on the axle.  This must be like that.  In the truck the axle was switched with air power.

Elon Musk did the same thing when he started SpaceX.   Russia said they would sell him ICBMs so he could put his own payloads into space, but after much time and money and hangovers he realized there had never been any intention of actually selling him anything.   So he gave up and started building his own.

/ If Russia had it to do over again they would give him his rockets for free.

There's probably two levers, one for 4 gear selection and one for hi/lo selection to produce 8 speeds. Folle means idle/neutral in this context.

dionysusaur: Dual.

It's called Duel Tone because Orange and Blue are on opposing sides of the Color Wheel.
This is different than Dual Tone which is combining a non color such as White or Black (e.g. racing stripes) with a member of the Color Wheel operating as the other (non-opposing) tone.

I am surprised nobody mentioned it but that tractor looks awesome. Especially the hood section. He had that awesome aesthetic sense back then too.

Also I was miffed too that there was no price mentioned but found it in another article.

If you'd like to read more about it or register to bid you can click here, it's due to cross the auction block with Artcurial on the 7th of February in Paris, with an estimated value of between €20,000 and €40,000.

With older tractors like this one, it's usually a dual range gearbox.  I learned to drive on a pretty slick old Russian agricultural tractor.  The transmission managed to deliver 14 gears on a 6 position vertical H pattern. (H-I) stood upright.  The bottom rail was a double wide shared High/Low-Forward/Reverse selector (Single throw either side from neutral was High/Low, double throw was forward/reverse.)  The top rail was 1-2 or 4-5 depending on if you were in Low or High, and the middle rail was 3-CI or 6-CII depending on High/Low (C's were creeper gears).  With the right handshake, you could get the normal 6 gears in forward or reverse, and two creeper forward gears in one box with a single 6 position stick.

Fat fingers meant to type "8U-0069" .  It's one of those cable actuated models, little gasoline pony engine to get the main engine started.  HMU is you want a set of photos to leave around the house just to rankle Ms. Jeb.  Tell her that I call it our "barn Cat".  Glad you got a laugh out if it... ttyl.

Lamborghini farm equipment is, and always has been, very high quality stuff that's prized by farmers for its utility and reliability. So very out of character for Italian motor vehicles.
