The people with the biggest platforms seem to whine about cancel culture the most.

What actual consequences did you face again, Aaron? Hm? You didn't lose a dime and sat out one game because you got sick? You're just upset because not everyone was telling you you were special and your feelings got hurt?

F*ck off.

He's rich, why the f**k would he care. From what my brother said he nearly didn't play this season because he gives f**k all.

As a Packers fan....jesus christ A.A.Ron....STFU.

Also if this is his last year here, I'm fine with it as he wants to make $50 million a year guaranteed for the next 3 years. The Packers are already 50+ million over the cap next year with the 2022 projected cap number. Trade him to Denver, Seattle, Pittsburgh, or whatever team is willing to give up 3 1st round picks and a pro bowl level starter and him and his immunized ego can be yours.

As much as I hate Brady, at least he was willing to sacrifice some $$$ so the GM could surround him with solid players.

some things are good to cancel. like viruses, for instance.

The thing that gets me is how ... bad ... for business this is for him.

He had an appeal to an (admittedly small, but notable) cross-section of fans who probably play fantasy football because they're geeky, but also watch Game of Thrones or Jeopardy. He brought brains to football.

But most geeky folks with brains also believe the science.

So yeah, you're too geeky for the Rogan crowd, but you're too Rogan-y for the geeky crowd. You were already somewhat unlikeable to those who knew about your relationship with your family or your personal life, too.

Like I say: As a Packers fan, I'm perfectly fine with him winning us a title next year and them throwing him out on his keister afterward. In fact, I'm kind of hoping for it, and nervous we might have to deal with this guy as he becomes even more diva-ish over the next few years if he's truly "mending fences" with Gutekunst.

On a personal level, I'm done with him

On a football level, he's putting in another MVP calibre season and I'd rather have him at QB than any other player with the possible exception of Mahomes.

But you're right. No good players on that team. Certainly not a top WR. Definitely not an all pro left tackle injured all season. Same for DB and linebacker.

I mean look at the useless players the last few seasons where the Packers have only won 13 games each year. Frankly, I'm embarrassed by the scarcity of talent

Being a trending topic on Twitter for a couple days with randos calling you an "idiot" or an "ass" counts as career limiting consequences and an example of cancel culture, I guess.

Not sure if anyone mentioned it previously, but just a few years ago Aaron also got a taste of this when some hardcore Trumpers called him a pussy and worse when he had the audacity to call out some fans in Lambeau for yelling (I think) anti-Muslim remarks. I can't speak for him, but if he is trying to attribute a political bent to the current "mean things said about him", he's conveniently forgetting the other side isn't always rainbows and unicorns either.

He didn't lose his State Farm gig. He lost nothing except a few of his idols have called him out on his bull shiat. Which has to sting his ego. He is probably going to win MVP this year.

I hope the Packers trade him, but with my luck they are going to extend him. He might take a team friendly deal to keep Adams. Nothing will change. He will probably get covid cause he doesn't wear masks or get vaccinated. If he gets that shiat during the play off run, I think the Packers will trade him for being so careless.

He has one year left on his deal with the Packers, then he is a free agent. If the Packers trade him, the team will basically have him for one year, and would have to resign him after that. He said he would never play for the Bears. He probably feels the same way about the Vikings. The only team he would go to is probably the Lions.

Exactly....he's said he wouldn't play for any NFC North team besides GB. I honestly think he's telling the truth on that. He's also gonna push for the trade this offseason since Adams isn't coming back to GB next year because his contract is up and he wants top WR money (deserves it). and the Packers are screwed when it comes to the salary cap.

The Packers are still working with a deal for Adams. He might be gone, or might not. The Packers are so farked in cap, but the Packers were willing to give Rodgers fark you money during off season to keep him. They might try to do that again, and just kick a lot people to the curb. Z is probably gone. They are going to try to kick money down the line, but who knows how well they can do that. I am not confidant at all on who is going to stay or go. I guess it will depends on if Rodgers wants to keep being a Packer or not. If he does, the Packers will keep him.

Ha! You actually think the NFL is going to shut down a COVID Rogers during the playoffs?

Once the playoffs begin all of these reports of "this team has 14 players on the covid list" are going to magically disappear.

They are going to try to do that, then the media is going to get a hold of it, then there will be a PR nightmare, then they will change their minds. That is why the Packers and Rodgers got fined. Wentz, Cooks, Cousins, and a bunch of other players were doing the exact same shiat Rodgers was doing in press conferences, but the Packers and Rodgers got the most attention from it, so they got fined.

The Packers took a $300k fine for letting Rodgers do what he wants. They are sucking up to him, hoping to keep him longer than a year.

True, but he could also help way the misinformation, instead he is spreading lies like they are fact which is not helping things. People who are stupid are going to listen to a non political rich white athlete over certain things, because they are rich, famous, and successful.

The best part is that he got it directly from Dave Portnoy of Barstool infamy.

The people you choose to associate with and the views you represent tell people who you are. First it was right-wing nutjobbery, now it's racist, sexist bro culture. I don't know what I expected, but until this year he never gave off that vibe. Now he screams it.

Sad thing is, he got to be friends with the guy, because he was helping raise money to help keep small businesses afloat during the pandemic. Rodgers said he was pissed the government wasn't doing anything to help. Which is somewhat true. He has been picking poor choices to be around lately.

Yep, this right here. Love mahomes, so much fun to watch, but really vanilla, but I'm not not holding that against him at all. Honestly the only thing I can think of that I don't like about him is his voice is... Annoying sometimes. Like Kermit-esque. And that's... The worst thing I can say about him. And even early on in his career he's willing to do the self-deprecating ads which are pretty funny (Patrick price, regular sneaker head, etc etc) whereas the Rodgers ads seem like 2% self deprecating and 98 douchey.
