Game wardens throughout the US have similar power to enter private property just because they want to look around. Yellowstone offered how that power worked for a livestock agent in MT.

Not many actual law enforcement Game Wardens in the US and it is needed for enforcement of hunting laws

They have greater authority for search, and for seizure, and for good reason.

And its intentionally balanced out by having a very narrow scope. They get to drop by whenever they want for a list of things that are very easy to cover up or hide if they had to serve a warrant.

Not a very well-regulated militia, are they?

Game wardens are subject to the Constitution, just like everyone else.  Just because the authorities want the right to go anywhere and everywhere does not mean that they should have that power.

If you are in a hunting club in that part of the state, you might not be the best at hunting.

Not good how? Not good as in they're pampered and run shady feeding programs and buy up land farking their neighbors over or not good as in shiatty shots and trophy hunters?

Yes but they can arrest for criminal violations outside that scope.  Checking for bag limit and find a bag of drugs, they can arrest.

"How dare they enter private property to enforce laws! I mean, laws? If I was using my private property to store dead people, would you force your way in? If the police suspected that you might have an illegal gun in your car, would they stop you? The very idea!"

These hunters want the law to apply to everyone except themselves.  Typical.  I hope they all get arrested for poaching.

The hunters that are complaining are the ones that are the problem.  Maybe a rule where if you complain about game wardens you lose your hunting license would be in order.  I've met PA "hunters".  It's why I never walk in the woods during hunting season any more.

Holy fark, I'd never heard of that before. That timeline of events that the floodwaters caused just kept getting worse and worse.

I'm posted.
Signs. Purple paint. And cameras.

Game warden has a key to my gate. And anytime he wants to pop on in and ask who is up there wandering around he may, with my permission.

I border state game lands, and that point of access is controlled by private land owners.

This side of the mountain, we all know who is, and more importantly, who is not supposed to be on whose land, especially during hunting season.

For 60 years, one guy in the valley has acted like he is immune to the law.
And he's raised a bunch of stupid kids and taught them they don't have to mind other people's property signs.

Eventually, the criminal justice system will swallow them whole.

By until that happens, we, the land owners on the fence, will keep records of his trespassing activities.

In court, those spreadsheets go a long way in determining the demeanor of the offender.

When the hammer does come down, there will be a mixed crowd of witnesses, some in straw hats, advising the judge this guy is persona non grata around here.

When he dies, we will attend the tax auction, and the bidding will not be hostile. One of the families who wants to work that dilaptated farm will turn it around.

Until then, I encourage the Game Commish to take strolls. I even put a road in so they can drive up and park.
It's a steep mountain.

Every day is leg day, baby.

Overly monied snowflakes upset that the 'rules' apply to them also. As someone mentioned above, these 'clubs' buy up hundreds of acres, plant feedlots and setup timed feeders, and do everything that they can to make sure that non-members cannot hunt anywhere in the area.

I guess Fark hates Pennsylvania hunters more? Hard to keep track of the zeitgeist.

A warden is different than a police officer.
It's almost like different words mean different things.

Next they'll claim the border patrol shouldn't be able to search you without cause.

In some states the warden has full law enforcement powers

I didn't say they weren't. In New York they don't need a search warrant.

a Gun club in PA . I have literally no doubt at best the vast majority members are majority GOP voters if not 100%.

That said these guys seem  like the type of hunter i call call a corn field commando : all pumped to shoot at anything that moves and may or not not have any knowledge and or experience with the gun in their hands.  They also have little to no respect for hunting regulations.

The only credit i will give these guys is that they likely know how to use their guns.

I wouldn't bet on that. Assuming guys at a gun club know how to use guns is like assuming people at a bowling alley know how to bowl.

I'm not. I'm a member of my local gun club because it allows me unlimited access to a pistol range for only a little more than it costs to access the game lands ranges. That's it. I don't, and I won't, discuss politics around people who might shoot me for thinking they're farking cultist lunatics, and if the game warden wants to inspect my firearms he's free to do so.

Not all gun owners are nutters. Some of us have tremendous respect for what they are and what they for, and are interested in them for the complex machines they are and the skill required in using them.
