I knew he wouldn't last in the NFL but I didn't predict a washout this quickly

What a clown

I don't think he had any interest in coaching again, but the Jags backed up a truck load full of money to his house, so he said WTF. He just seemed to be just going through the motions most of the season

Urban Meyer's ghost is going to haunt Steve Sarkisian for the next year or two.  Enough time and contrition for it to blow over to meet UT's "standards".  So about 90 days.  Head on a swivel Steve.  LOL

Hey subby, you trying to get Drew on Urban Meyer's daughter's bad side??

I'm glad I'm not an Urban Meyer Jaguar
That is what would truly suck to be
Cause if I were an Urban Meyer Jaguar
Everyone'd be making fun of me

The energy consumed by the creation of these constant lies could be put to so much better use such as fixing the ugly black holes in your hearts which necessitate the tearing down of others.

Are you going to add anything relevant or just post the same random insane garbage you always fill threads up with?

I doubt Meyer ever had the balls to kick Aaron Hernandez.

This. I gave him at least a whole season.  He flamed out much faster than I thought.

Yup.  I doubt anyone would have placed the over/under of his tenure at less than a season.

And if they were to bet it they'd probably have also bet it was due to medical reasons.

Or...he did and that's what set him off.

I can't believe they fired him.  This is the first season in his coaching career that he hasn't had a player arrested on felony charges.

I was hoping that he would last a few weeks longer.

After seeing some excerpts of his last pressers, I would have liked to imagine that the next one would have turned like something out from the movie "The Caine Mutiny".  Urban getting more shifty and sweaty, starting to fondle a pair of large ball bearings in his hands, and eventually start going irrationally on about his missing strawberries.

I'll never forgive Shad Khan for denying me this possibility.

He would have proved beyond the shadow of a doubt and with... geometric logic... that the W/L record wasn't his fault.

I actually think I agree with that take. The guy retired twice from high profile college programs, had a cushy analyst job and was lured to the NFL by a big bag of money. I don't get the impression he was motivated to be a winner in this case.

It's not like he doesn't know HOW to coach but he obviously forgot how to get people to follow

I just assume someone in the Jacksonville front office didn't realize they couldn't be investigated by the NCAA for recruiting violations and jumped the gun on the whole thing.

So he's hired the college savior who bombed. The next step in the playbook he's following is to lure Joe Gibbs out of retirement, right? Or should he skip to Jim Zorn?

Speaking as a Seahawks fan....

It bummed me out that Zorn fizzled put as a head coach.

Buddy Ryan, might as well stay on-brand.
