USPS has an entire subdepartment dedicated to things like this. Why aren't they doing anything?

DeJoy, who was the chief supply chain executive for XPO in 2014-2015 after New Breed Logistics bought DeJoy's trucking company DeJoy owned since more than 30 years.

And an extra comma or two wouldn't have hurt that sentence.

It's not really stealing, the USPS is renting buildings and I think it pre-dates this POS becoming Postmaster General.

DeJoy and his families have sold between $65.4 and $155.3 million worth of XPO shares since he was made postmaster general.

America, get your shiat together and make some laws to reign in your corrupt politics-for-profit politicians

Well, he sure did a bang-up job of screwing up USPS efficiency.  Holy shiat is stuff farked up.  My friend ordered a pack of postage stamps and she won't receive it until after Christmas.  I mean, it's a damn flat sheet that goes in an envelope.  But that's happening all over and it's not just the holiday rush.

psilocyberguy: Karma is a biatch.

Karma is farking nonsense that protects the unworthy.

When some mysterious force is going to somehow magically provide accountability to someone in some vague, unspecified future - or after they have died - that only serves to kneecap any impetus to protect people from those malignant actors, or hold them accountable. "Well, nothing to be done! Karma will get him for all the bad shiat he did! Oh, hey, look at that! He lived another couple decades in comfort and luxury and died peacefully at home, at a ripe old age, after receiving the best medical care in the world, surrounded by family. Karma got him!"

At some point, poor Americans are going to realize that DeJoy's slice of the wealthy elite are simply counting on nobody ever doing something about it. DeJoy never signed the social contract, obviously; and one day somebody is going to come up with an easy solution.

And "since more than.." is a very non-native English speaker's form of words. No idea what that means other than being an interesting observation.

But I see USPS ads on television all the time telling me that they've streamlined and the service is better than ever. Are you telling me that part of DeJoy's plan to tear down the USPS involves destroying the service and then spending precious funds to lie about it?

Yeah, that's also not just USPS. FedEx has been even more awful than usual lately. Their tracking updates start out "Departed New Haven, IN, 2:37 PM" and end up "Last seen being carried by a hobo on a BMX bicycle in Montana last week."

That said, I hope DeJoy gets molested by rabid ferrets covered in IcyHot.

If DeJoy got his wish and everything was privatized and everyone was bribing the right people, I wonder who would get blamed by the rural people who suddenly had to pay $90 shipping for their $25 commemorative plate of Trump driving Dale Earnhardt's car while Angel Dale pushes over the finish line in front of the White House?

Here you go:

DeJoy, who was the chief supply chain executive guy for this thing called, I think, XPO in 2014? That was after New Breed Logistics bought DeJoy's kind-of, you know, trucking company, right? DeJoy owned that shiat since, like, more than 30 years ago.

I get that Biden can't throw him out on his ass yet.

But you know what he can do? Make a speech where he outlines how he plans on removing this thief and how he plans on investigating him.

I probably wouldn't be in the "ain't nothing going to happen" camp if Biden were out there everyday taking about what was going to happen.

And obviously he doesn't want his whole presidency to be about undoing Trump's crimes... But I'd be a lot less bothered about things like the stalled build back better bill if I felt like he was taking action elsewhere.

Are we allowed to criticize this grift? I'm a bit worried that getting upset about anything happening under Biden might give aid & comfort to Republicans. I wouldn't want to ruin the fairy dust we're using to get more midterm seats.

C'mon, you and I both know they'll do what they always do: Blame people of color, liberals, and "them Demonrats".

If Trump comes to their house and personally punches their baby in the face right in front of them.... they'll blame people of color, liberals, and " them Demonrats".

Since the USPS had to pre-fund the pension fund, there wasn't a lot left to steal. If he had been put in charge of another agency that has cash he would've taken a lot more.

We've seen the same kind of stuff here with FedEx.  We've had a couple of packages that have had routes that make absolutely no sense, seemingly on a tour of the United States, and then either they won't be delivered or they are very late.

Also it's used as an excuse not to help the poor and downtrodden because that's just Karma!

Yes I know that's not how it works, but that's how selfish assholes in powers would and have abused the concept.

What would be the legal consequences if Biden made a public announcement that this asshole is public enemy number one, and if you saw him in the street you'd get a pardon and all legal fees paid for beating the shiat out of him? Not killing him or anything "illegal" but you, know just farking him up a little. Hell, he could say he was joking if it happens. Then maybe a nice photoshop of him burning Christmas presents. Tastefully done of course, sure some star of David's superimposed on his irises, but no reptilian features.

Naw.  A common thief, once caught would go to jail, be convicted and go off to prison.   He's got a corner cloud lined up for him in Rich Mann's Heaven.  If you had elected me Jebus, I'd take every penny he had, give it to the poor and moderately poor, pox him without healthcare and pox him once more when he does get healthcare.  Oh, you'd better believe I stopped his dick from working.  As Jebus, that would be my signature dick move.

Worst case scenario:  Only his friends show up at his going away party but Fark everyone.  He's rich.
