I had to turn TFA sideways and squint at the margin.

Same, although I was wondering why the BBC was reporting it.

Damned shame. Glad I got to see him play in person, even in friendlies.

This is a real shame - he's a farking legend.

260 goals for Man City in 10 years
Scored in 186 matches
16 hat tricks

Citeh fan and I can't say enough great things about him. I'm glad they are building a statue for him outside their stadium. Hopefully he has a long healthy life after football

Given what happened to Eriksen, any potential heart-related issues would get me to retire from pro sports too.

I wasn't a fan of Aguero, but I can recognize his talent. Here's hoping he has many more years to enjoy.

/may we all

He'll never have to buy a drink in the blue half of Manchester for that goal which won Citeh the league, in spite of themselves.

I thought of Mad Magazine and the artist of all the great small comics in the margins.

It does seem a little odd that this has cropped up now and not during the Barca medical.

Muamba and Erikson did show this can just happen and I just hope this adds extra data to stop people from having heart attacks on the pitch.

Time to put on the old tinfoil hat but COVID does have rare side effects of heart issues.

While we're on Erikesen, it sounds like his contract with Inter will be cancelled. Apparently Serie A don't allow players with defibrillator implants to play.

So he'll be a free agent in the January window...

As a life-long City fan, my thanks to him for all he did for the club, an outstanding career and definitely one of the greatest of all time. As the survivor of a major heart attack, his health and family must by the priority. Enjoy your well-earned retirement.

Well, he's been at it for decades....
