At this point, if he isn't gone soon because of all this shiat, he has to have dirt on someone.

I don't think HE has dirt on anyone, I think other owners (Kraft, Jones esp) have things they REALLY want kept in the closet and tossing an owner over this is precedent for papers to start digging around their houses.

I think they're just waiting for him to get slapped by criminal charges so they can do it then with a "hey our hands are tied here because of ownership agreements with the league".   Doing it before then is too dangerous to their livelihood.

Removing an owner (not giving control to his wife) is a serious thing for the other owners because they fear it can happen to them. That's the only way to get rid f him. Convince a majority of owners that he is a threat to them and the sport.

Right now, there is no threat to them. It has to get much worse and be a top story for a long period of time for them to care.

They won't do anything to him.

Given what we've seen publicly from Kraft, all hands would be on deck for that behind the scenes investigation

With Kraft it was all about hands on dick.

They will do something if Danny Boy's shenanigans result in either a league-wide investigation, or if someone like Pepsi or Anheuser-Busch threatens to take away a 9-digit sponsorship deal.  That's the threshold, when their collective pocketbooks are sufficiently threatened.

Its time for the rest of the owners to pull a Donald Sterling on Snyder - get him in a honeypot situation where he's saying a bunch of racist stuff while drunk off his ass and leak it to the press. And as shady as Snyder is, that wouldn't be too hard to do, I suspect.

Nah.

Ray Rice didn't have dirt on anyone.  But until the public saw the video, Goodell (the owners) were fine keeping the unpleasantness as low-key as possible.

I think the two factors at play here are, "do we really want (more of) a black eye for the league?  And, hey, it's a bad precedent when unproven allegations (unproven in court - mountains of evidence) can cause one of us owners to get kicked out.  So, absent the equivalent of the evidence of Ray Rice knocking his girlfriend out, the league is happy to talk sorta serious, but mete out slaps on wrists.

This is why the league gave an eight-figure settlement to Kaepernick as soon as the courts said the NFL had to turn over documents and he could depose NFL execs, and why they're going to give a hefty settlement to Gruden as soon as he asks to see the rest of those emails.

Everyone knows that investigation into Snyder turned up some massive shiat. The WFT has paid out millions in settlements to multiple women. It's why the report wasn't and isn't going to be released. And any lawsuit that runs the risk of information getting out is going to be settled at nearly any cost.

That and Gruden's impending lawsuit against the league; if everything goes in a certain direction, this is going to be a gigantic clusterfark for the entire league.
