And the, what.....30th+ movie/TV show overall? If people aren't on board by now they probably aren't going to start with this movie

Have not seen it yet. But the previous Spider-Man movies cratered when they started trying to top the previous ones by having a bunch of villains. They end it up with messed up plots. Took Sam Raimi three movies to fark it up, Amazing Spiderman made that mistake by the second outing.

This movie looked at that mistake by the previous two incarnations, tripled down on it, and apparently made it work. And rubbed their faces in it by using their villains for the character overload. Looking fwd to seeing it.

May try to do a movie theater with my brother and nephew during an early weekday showing were we see lots of unsold seats online.

Yeah, its not a good idea to assume the score is locked in this early.

The movie is probably better than the entire Rotten Tomatoes website.

I've probably said this before. But my only worry (if you can even call it that) about this movie is that Sony releases these movies whenever they want. Apparently Disney begged them not to release the last Spider-man movie so soon after Endgame, because well, it gave away that Spider-man was coming back. So does the fact that the Dr Strange movie was originally supposed to be released before this movie mean this movie somehow spoils stuff from that movie? Guess we'll find out

I've got my tickets for Thursday. I'll be there even despite the expected storm around these parts. I'm so looking forward to this one.
