A couple thoughts.

In America we call that "a basement".

"My favourite thing about the bar is that no one knows it's there." Which explains why you did an interview with the Daily Mirror and invited them in for pictures, I suppose.

Sure, I _could_ have a nice room with windows. But if I spend the extra I can have a musty underground dungeon to watch TV in.
