Do you smell toast?

I LOL'd at the very end: "American gin... brought to you by a Canadian."

Aviation Gin: when you had a sudden craving to lick a juniper berry's asshole and rinse out afterwards with grain neutral parts wash.

I do. But I just made toast. I also can't feel my arm. But I slept on it. It's a very confusing time for me.

No, but I want to smell grilled cheese sandwiches - just not with those nasty Kraft singles.

I'm all nostalgic & fuzzy now. Can we watch some 70s K-Tel adverts next?

The best gin I've found is made by Freeland Spirits in Portland, OR.  The company was founded to make bourbon, but they decided to make gin to provide some cash flow while the bourbon aged.

The hairstyles were too obviously post-80s, but a lot of the direction, angles and lighting were definitely vintage 1980s.

Some of the video was a bit too high quality for the era, but others looked like they were made with vintage equipment, too.

I was fully expecting to come back to an episode of Duke's of Hazzard or Knight Rider after those. They were done very well.

Was not expecting Carlton.

And the man in the elevator talking about the captivating smell. What was his name? I know I recognize him, but can't place him.

For best overall gin (sipping it straight, not in mixer) I'd go with Monkey 47 followed closely by Gunpowder Irish Gin if you want a more subtle juniper experience.

If you are just making G&Ts or martini's, throw whatever in there - I like cheap G&Ts and will usually go with Gordon's unless there is some Sapphire on hand.

Big fan of Gunpowder Gin, I'll have to try the Monkey 47; Beefeater is my go to for G&Ts.  I hope to make it back to St, George Spirits in Alameda sometime, they had some interesting varieties.

Seems like Carlton is doing fine. He's got a steady gig hosting America's Funniest Home Videos.
