So far, CNN's current map is dead on target with Andrew Tannenbaum's predicted final results.

Not worried... yet.

kingskippus already said what I wanted to say about Miami Dade and Broward wiping out Bush's lead in Florida.

At first, I thought buffettbassman1 was a clumsy troll. I now realize he's just a frenetic little chihuahua that somehow learned to type.

All I heard was "Yip yip yip yip!" And when he wet himself, that settled it. Definitely a typing chihuahua.

I had this dream. In this dream Bush got 30%, Peroutka got 10% and Badnarik got 10%. That left 5% for Nader and 45% for Kerry. But it was just a dream. The fascists have won again and we are all royally screwed. I mean, things are going to start to really, really suck now. I hope you youngins are ready to go kill some A-rabs. I hope Al-Queda just hits places that voted for bush. Probably won't. Thanks all you bush voters! You just got a few thousand people killed. Hope kharma finds you well.

Let's see, Bush cut the funds for Superfund (toxic waste cleanup) from $300 million to $30 million, thus exposing 1 in 4 Americans to toxic waste.
But yeah, Presidents don't change anything!

The Superfund? Oh yeah, I've heard of that. That's where the government spends almost half a billion dollars trying to take all the naturally occuring lead out of the soil in Aspen, CO, despite no science that says it's dangerous and no deaths or illness, but can't scrape together the money to fix the main road that leads into Aspen and kills dozens annually.
2004-11-02 09:48:22 PM
So...Bush has called the press to the white house. What's this all about?
2004-11-02 09:48:23 PM
If Bush wins, the only solace I'll take is the expression on Martin Sheen, Alec Baldwin and the rest of Hollywood's faces. That'll make my day. I love to see celebs in pain.

/voted Bednarik.

Hey lefties, Bush is beating your stupid arses in Florida. A loser says what?

I hope Bush wins - America needs to suffer more.

When the hell.. oh.. its only 6:43 here.. I was gonna ask when Oregon and Cali would call in. Im assuming Cali AND Oregon go Bush. All I have to say is

fark insurance companies. Some big insurance company is running a campaign against the state run workers comp insurance company here and making it sound like its horrid. Thats just farked up. If I didnt still have a Cali drivers license, I would SOOOO vote against that here in Oregon

Does anyone have a good read on how many of the major population centers have reported in yet? It seems like most of the big-ass counties haven't gotten finished yet, even in the states that can be called already. For instance no one seems to know how the vote in Indianapolis is going to turn out.

I am in Lafayette where Purdue is and they said on my local news that they haven't even been able to close to polls on Campus yet because of turnout. Bushie will win the state, but he might not win this county! That would make me feel better...
2004-11-02 09:50:07 PM
Let's all hope that Kerry isn't as bad a sore loser as Gore was.

/or should that be "isn't as good"

Canada wants Kerry, If Bush wins, I am leaving the Continent.

//Actually moving to the UK in November but would feel safer in the coming month knowing Kerry won.
2004-11-02 09:50:16 PM
Xevious: Hey nice optimism. You forget that Florida and California haven't been called yet, which would add serious momentum to Kerry. Pennsylvania and Ohio are also not called, and if Kerry wins those, it's basically his.

BUSH vs KERRY ... whoever wins ... you lose.
2004-11-02 09:51:09 PM

That's a hell of a score. I would have figured maybe a 2 touchdown lead after halftime, but this? Crazy...

They repeat more than you can possibly imagine.

Ok, back to the election results ...
2004-11-02 09:53:54 PM
Miami-Dade is 54-46 Kerry at 64% for Kerry. Unless something radically changes, that's not going to carry the state for him.

We've lost any way you look at it in Indiana. We just elected the architect of the WONDERFUL bush budget and tax cut as our Republican govenor.

We'll be bankrupt within 4 years. Write that down....

As a confused Aussie, why do you have electoral college votes ? Why isn't it simply count all the votes across the nation and him with the most wins ? I gather that the electoral college is based on the population within states, but what does it get you that a straight addition of all votes doesnt ?
2004-11-02 09:55:39 PM
Well, that shoulda been '54-46 at 64% for Kerry according to CNN' but there musta been a bit of a beer incident somewhere along the line.

Ah, Warsteiner.

Using the democratz' bandwidth against them.

I'd change Bush from some things he did (the liberal things, you ungreatful shytz) but I have more chance of monkeys flying out of my twat than me believeing a word Kerry says.

/me waits for GIS of "buttmonkey"
2004-11-02 09:57:27 PM
64% reporting in FLA

bush 53%
kerry 47%

This does not include Miami-Dade or Palm Beach Counties. Nor does it include absentee ballots.

Bush led most of the night in 2000, even after they called it for Gore. It only got close when the last ballots were counted.

Kerry supporters, don't worry yet. Urban precincts, traditionally the strongest Democratic precincts, are the last to come in.
