It will be the most watched Super Bowl of all time.

God willing, they've booked a meteor for the halftime show.

ESPN would reach a level of insufferability that threaten the quantum stability of the entire universe.

Is there a possibility they'll both lose?

So Vader vs. Apprentice.

It was really inevitable. Vader needs to prove he can win one without his Apprentice.

Just admit your men crush on Brady and Bill and leave us in peace

Look.  As a football fan I would have absolutely no interest in watching a game involving the greatest coach of all time and the greatest quarterback of all time.  I love football though.  But I wouldn't watch a good game.  Why would anyone want that?

Maybe if the Lions and Jets were the alternative I would watch, but certainly not two of the best of all time.  That's dumb.  I'm a FAN!

Sounds good to me. I'm not a fan of either team, but I do realize the hype behind the match-up. But I'll be watching the SB regardless of who plays.

Hey, some of us want full chaos for the Super Bowl, but you would've had me on board with Browns v. Vikings.

Idk that sounds like a good Super Bowl.

Just don't watch ESPN throughout the playoffs.

I don't care how "good" the game would be, the announcers and the network narrative would make me switch to Puppy Bowl reruns.

Who hears announcers? Either watch at a party where you're not listening or watch at home with the sound off. They don't add anything to the game.

Not gonna happen. Tampa Bay is not that good. Someone from the NFC is gonna get healthy enough to knock 'em out: Dallas, Green Bay, Rams, or Cardinals. The Buc's defense is not what it was last year. sorry, not sorry.

I will watch the game, but not the halftime show.

While the Patriots have been very good over the years and take advantage of opportunities, you have to admit that a lot of AFC teams just suck and ruin chances they have of being better. I just can't understand how the Jets keep spunching themselves in the crotch over and over.

It will be KC vs Tampa rematch. KC's offense is cooking & I just can't imagine anyone knocking out the Bucs now.

I thought subby was talking about pitchers and catchers reporting to spring training

Counterpoint: Niners - Browns

I'd be more excited if they hadn't already played each other few weeks ago.

It's too late. The apprentice won one immediately after parting ways with his master. Meanwhile, Vader couldn't even get his lightsaber to function. I don't think Vader wants the humiliation of getting owned by his former apprentice now.

The Bucs lost to Washington literally 3 and a half weeks ago, after their bye. No one is really unbeatable this season, and Tampa will likely have to go through AZ or Green Bay.

This. Tampa won last year primarily because of their defense.

Last year Tampa beat Green Bay in spite of Brady who was the worst of the 4 QBs in the conference round. He wasn't great in the Divisional round, either. As far as Belichick goes, when Brady faced the Patriots this year he threw precisely zero TDs, and the Bucs came within 6 inches of losing the game.  It's silly to think Tampa winning last year settled any argument regarding the Patriots' success over the last 20 years. And I say this as someone who generally likes Brady.

Fun fact! After that little run the Patriots just went on, Belichick is finally .500 in games he's coached in New England without Brady starting at quarterback. Maybe this year he'll finally actually win a division without Brady.

He's 35-32 without Brady in New England. That includes a house cleaning 5-11 season when he first got here.

This is called moving the goalposts.  Losers do this.

Probably a Lions fan.
