The oddest part of the TMTG presentation is the "technology team" listed on Slide 21. The company has apparently filled 30 important jobs already, but it only lists these team members with a first name and last initial. The chief technology officer is "Josh A." "Steve E." is VP of engineering.

Hey now. I know Josh A. from a while back. Really bright guy, he did that one thing that really impressed everybody with how well it handled the stuff and other stuff. Steve E., he's more of unknown. If he's the same Steve E. who worked for those years at that place, I'm worried that he might not know enough about all those things that he really should know to be a CTO. You know, there were a lot of concerns over that one project he led, the one with the thing. No, that was Josh's thing. The other thing.

SPACs alone strike me as incredibly sketchy, so it doesn't surprise me in the least that Trump would go that route.  Being able to invest in something and not knowing what yet, and being able to negotiation for the option to cash out immediately for a profit just sounds like 31 flavours of sketch.

Of course none of it really matters, because this endeavour is going to end like everything Trump touches, and we're all going to have a good, hearty laugh as we listen for its death rattle.

I misread that headline as "bride laundering" and thought it still made sense.

We're at the "our top brass will need to use pseudonyms" stage of Trumpery.

Short the company.  Anything Trump touches. short the investment.  You're guaranteed to make money.  None of the Trumps could run so much as a lemonade stand profitably.

Heck, Even Ivanka can't sell any of her crap unless she sells it under a different name.

I thought the guy had plenty of money.  Why does he need more?  Surely he hasn't lost it all by now.

As will he. The GQP leadership will line up to publicly throw money down this pit, rallying the red-hat sheep division to follow. That'll pool enough cash for trump et. al. to skim off a healthy profit before selling out at a massive loss. The sheep get sheared, tucker blames da ebil librulz, and the sheep will start saving up for the next trump scam b/c surely THIS TIME it'll make them all rich.

Of course, that may be probably their selling point.

"The Trump Media & Technology Group is the most accomplished media or tech startup that I've ever seen. The people that President Donald J. Trump has surrounded himself with are just the best people, geniuses straight out of central casting.  I'm advising all of my many, many clients to go long - to go total long - on buying shares in this venture.  - John Miller, Senior Advisor for John Barron Business Associates."

The "key advisor" whose logo appears on every page is EF Hutton. But this isn't the storied brokerage firm. It's a reboot of a brokerage named Kingswood Capital Markets that dates all they way to 2020 and recently bought rights to the EF Hutton name.

I love how they appeal to the brand without making any statement about what person was responsible for what...These could ALL have been customer service people.  "Turn the caps lock off" type of people...So long as they present their dicks to the orange one, he'll declare them geniuses, and hire them with no intentions of paying them.
