It's one of the unqualified judges that the Federalist Society suggested and the GOP rammed through during Trump's tenure.

The GOP plays the long game, and they play to win.

We mandate all kinds of shiat for federal contractors, including minimum payments, insurance coverage (via the ACA), etc.

This is just more opposition-defiance disorder shiat from Republicans.

2021-12-08 11:38:50 AM
In other contexts, it's perfectly ok for the President to put conditions on federal contractors getting paid with federal dollars

Difference here - Covidiot Trump judge

Attempt to prolong the pandemic and worsen chances for dem wins in the midterms from an unqualified Trump judge. Cute.

He was confirmed on a voice vote, suggesting that he was one of the less controversial judges. Trump nominated a few that passed with 90+ votes, somehow.

OK, new Presidential Mandate: No federal dollars will be spent on any contractor that doesn't have 100% vaccinated employees.

Looks like someone is trying to get nominated to the Supreme Court once the Republicans take power. Since Trump nominated him I'm assuming that he's a partisan hack.

This idiotic judge thinks Biden can't do at the federal level what states, cities, and counties are doing all across the country?

We're getting ready to see some govt employees sacked because they're too stupid to get the vaccine. It's gonna happen regardless of what these MAGAt judges think.

I also love the "forced out" of their jobs. LOL - no. Get the shot you mouth-breathing sack of shiat and you can keep your job.

I think this will be overturned on appeal.  I hope so at least.  Of course, the final arbiters of such, the Supreme Court, are not exactly trustworthy at this point.

The judge may be wrong in a moral sense or a scientific sense but it remains to be seen if he is wrong from a legal sense.

Should everyone be mandated to be vaccinated?  Absolutely (the probability that one is allergic to ALL 3 vaccines is between zero and none - also, F religious exemptions for vaccinations).

Is the President authorized to make material requirement changes to all federal contracts?  I would be surprised if he was.

Going to need to offer some sort of asylum-humanitarian aid combo to all the blue islands in red states.  "Tired of living in the corn and worried that religious extremists in charge of We The People's Patriotic Democratic Republic of Great America might not be able to provide you with a stable economy, safe drinking water, education, or frankly just basic public services like roads?  Relocate to [underpopulated area in sane state].  Apply for asylum today."

It's not freedom if they're given choices and don't like one of the choices. That would be like eating all your cake and then not having it anymore. Could you imagine?

Judge R. Stan Baker, who's based in Georgia, temporarily blocked implementation of the administration after a lawsuit from numerous states and a trade group argued that letting the mandate take effect on Jan. 4 would cause "irreparable injury" to workers who could be forced out of their jobs.

This makes absolutely no sense. I'd almost like to see the courts uphold it just because of the fun that can be had with the notion that losing your job for violating contracting standards is an irreparable injury.

I know there's a pointless aspect to this, but I'm looking at the picture and the "COVID19 VACCINES KILL PEOPLE" sign intrigues me. Let's assume, for a moment, this is a true statement. How many people have the vaccines killed? Is that a greater number than the number of people COVID19 has killed? I would think we would have noticed that, but maybe since I'm not on facebook, I missed it.

Can't logic people out of a position they didn't logic themselves into. Sigh. These people are why we're getting an omicron variant instead wiping our brow and saying "Sure am glad we all masked up and stayed home for three weeks a year and a half ago, that could have gotten bad".

2021-12-08 11:57:22 AM
If we can figure out who is printing these signs, we can figure out who is funding the disinformation campaign. I'm pretty sure even the "protesters" don't know. But they aren't paying for their own signs. Someone is handing them out. They aren't homemade. Someone is paying for them.

It doesn't take a prime mentat thought projection to see they are trying to kill as many people as possible with this virus. The mind boggling question is why. Its like two rich people made a bet to see how many of their own constituents they could kill and still stay control of the country. Sure it is about making Biden look bad, which is monstrous by itself, but there is a sadism going on here. The may be the new class warfare.

92% of the federal workforce is already vaxxed....so, there's that, fortunately

The difference is that those powers are enumerated in the law, and vaccine mandates aren't. Change the law, don't just blunder ahead on the assumption that you can do whatever the hell you want just because you want it. Too many people, left and right, can't seem to remember that part.

Get your ass vaxxed and let the idiots thin their own herd.  I've stopped caring what anti-vaxxers think months ago.  If they die from Covid, I don't have any farks to give.
