Wall Street Journal poll?  Knock me over with a feather.

2021-12-07 8:14:36 PM
Economy, jobs, inflation are all under economy.  And in manybrespects, so is health care, so that is well over 25%.

2021-12-07 8:16:05 PM
Bullshiat, it's always the economy, stupid. Always.

Well, unless we're involved in a major war.

Stupid. Keep out the brown people.

Are we seriously the most backwards people on the planet?

Because COVID certainly has no economic aspects, right?

based on the behavior I've seen during the pandemic nothing matters. I'll be screaming in my pillow if you need me.

Because conditioning. Classical dog annoying conditioning.

Lewis Black has a special, Thanks for Risking Your Life, that he filmed just before everything shut down, like days before.

In one segment he was discussing in very real and clear terms about what was going to happen and how American culture was to blame.

It was very spooky and bizarre to hear the audience laughing because everything that comes out of his mouth is supposed to be funny  right?

And he was,as he always is, but at that point he was deadly serious and people didn't know what to do except what they have been conditioned to.

Worth watching

The answer is capitalism.

Diamond Joe Biden: The answer is capitalism.

It's really not
Consumerism is a part of it, but the economic system isn't. The system isn't flawed, it's the practitioners. See the Soviet Union and China. There's corruption and violence in those systems too.

Here
You explain in your own words why it's capitalism. No talking points allowed.

Any poll that sets "fix immigration system" in the same contingent of options as xenophobic, closed borders bullshiat is wholly worthless.

And that is before we get into the fact it's coming out of Murdoch's pro-fascist propaganda rag.

Are you sure? This reads to me like they asked an open-ended, free-form question and then tried to group the results. Only a complete prick would make a poll with that many choices, especially with them overlapping so obviously.

The way I see it, 4% of respondents are so conditioned that if you ask "what's wrong with this country" they immediately start spouting off about liberals or Nancy Pelosi or CRT or some other partisan garbage. They should have just grouped that whole response category under "stupid right-wing nutjob shiat."

/Actually surprised it's only 4%

The biggest thing to take away from the poll is how few are the people who make the most noise.

But, all the same, I'm glad I'm old. The future's so stink, I gotta wear Glade.

Eightballjacket: Economy, jobs, inflation are all under economy.  And in manybrespects, so is health care, so that is well over 25%.

Half of this country wants deflation, unaware that it's just as bad as high inflation.  They also want to repeal the ACA, which is their health care plan and would also be disastrous.  And stopping communism?  Not one federal elected official has mentioned banning private property or centrally planning the economy.
We're boned.

What if we build a massive wall out of living trees along the US Mexico border to start fighting climate change and to shut people up....

And then focus on climate change, health care, education, affordable housing and sustainable urban planning, and overall infrastructure?

I believe the immigration issue when farmers, contracters and construction companies are put in prison for hiring illegals.  Until then, it's complete horse shiat.

That sort of shiat is from cowards and dumbf*cks who watch faux news.
