Aezetyr: Rivervale? Oh the one with the superior Sabrina is tonight.

Subby here. I've never watched Riverdale because some childhood memories don't need adultifying. But this one I just may watch.

Yeah - I haven't watched Riverdale either, mostly because I don't have the time.  I understand it's completely bonkers, which I can appreciate. I *loved* CAoS; it scratched that Buffy itch that nothing else has. I know CAoS was a bit all over the place (especially the last season) but I don't care. It ended way too soon.

Darkh is soo much fun! I've missed him.

Can't figure out why Thawne is in Wells's body in this timeline. Granted, Cavanagh is a much better actor than the guy who played the "real" Thawne in Legends a few seasons ago. But body-stealing isn't something a hero does, and Thawne is supposed to be a hero in this timeline.

Woot! Superman & Lois resumes in about a month, and it looks like it's gonna be better than ever!

Uuhh, what now?

I mean in the eyes of the world and his friends. If he stole the body of another man, they'd know, unless he went by "Harrison Wells," in which case they'd've been calling him that earlier instead of "Eobard Thawne."

That was way better than I was expecting, and I'm quite willing to suspend disbelief on the Thawne-in-Wells's-body thing because it means we get more Tom Cavanagh, and no way would the other guy whose name I never even bothered to learn have been able to pull off such delicious scenery-chewing.

Epilogue looks to be intriguing, too.

Did they ever explain how Eobard exists after his ancestor Eddie killed himself to prevent him from coming into being?

He probably has a return for 2-3 episodes a season and the other guy does not.

Speedsters are not subject to temporal paradox.  Since they can switch between timelines at will a version can always exist in any timeline.

Or some form of that depending on which CW series it is.

As soon as episode 3 was like "go to the future" I looked at my wife and told her if it is Thawne I am going to vomit.

I did gag anyway.

Flash is officially in "Once Upon a Time" creative mode. "We can't think of a new bad guy so let's throw Regina in the Evil Queen outfit again and call it a day creatively."

I need to stop watching this show. I don't really like it anymore.

Specifically, the Dark Speedforce that Thawn invented makes him immune to timeline changes.

This was an intense episode, and Damien Darhk is always awesome.  Barry getting Damien on his side was fun.  Team Flash fighting Barry.  Allegra and Chester working out their love life.. well, we can hope they don't wait 10 years again.

A full reset.  Joe West is alive, if not on camera, and they have Star Labs back.

All is well with the world.. except that Thawn won't give up that easily.  He could try anything now.  No part of time is safe.

Yes, it was much more intense than such shows usually get. And great that Joe West is alive! He's one of my favorite characters in the whole CWverse.

For last week's Beebo Saves Christmas special ― a "How It Should Have Ended":

Everything happens as it did, with a few seconds of expendable footage skipped to make time for a little extra during the final credits. The credits shrink and we see that it's on a big-screen TV in the living room of Alex Danvers's home. She, Kelly Olsen, and Esme are watching it. Maybe Esme's Aunt Kara is there, too. Esme says that she liked it and wants a Beebo for Christmas, and gets a hug from one of her mommies. Fade out.

Forgot to add: the Danvers-Olsen living room has a well lit Christmas tree and other decorations, perhaps with an S-shield ornament or two visible.
