I would think screaming and raging at Meghan over her turning you down for date #2, and later marrying a Prince, gets old fast.

In a just world, that would be a grand total of 2 book sales.

I can only hope that 100% of those that paid actual currency for that book was for the sole purpose of taking a giant sh*t on it.

I can't say I'm surprised, he is a whiner.

Morgan's Wake Up: Why the World Has Gone Nuts

If there's one thing I like paying for in literature, it's an imperative.

2021-12-07 4:26:08 PM
Hmm, could it be because he's a crappy writer, possibly forcing a ghostwriter to weave an almost impossible course through his editorial 'advice'? Or could it be that the core content is just incredibly off-putting, no matter the quality of the language used to present it?  Or is it just that the book's target audience just doesn't read?

That's so few books, it means no Q-PACs are buying it to launder money.  That's how un-liked Piers Morgan is.

As if his followers read books.

We don't have the permanent election cycle system you lot have, which makes it harder to get away with.

It must suck to be so sure people care about what you have to say that you write a book, and then find out that no one does.

Newsflash: ALL rightwing books sell this well.

The only thing that's happened here is that Christie and Morgan's books were not bought in bulk by Conservative SuperPACs and the RNC to distribute as swag at campaign rallies and fundraising events.

This is how much they actually sell to the public. In stores. For money.

Like TFG, the entire rightwing book industry is one big kayfabe.

Why, it's almost as though Right wing "bestsellers" are simply manufactured through a serious of PAC bulk buys!

Christie's and Morgan's poor sales will stand as a tacit warning to anyone else thinking of defying the will of the DayGlo Dictator.

/Really, All I have to say about that.

Piers Morgan has sold just 5,650 print copies of his latest book despite a Twitter following of nearly eight million, according to a New York Times report that examines the disconnect between social media presence and book sales for celebrities.

Publishers need to account for how many followers are bots.

I would imagine tearing all the pages out, passing them through a shredder and then lining the cat box with it would also be acceptable?

It's fun to dunk on him, but the article is pointing out that social media fame doesn't translate in to fans willing to spend money on what they're used to getting for free. Who the hell would read a book of gripes when they can get quick twitter dopamine hits from reading it in bite size form on the shiatter?

Calling Piers a shiatter is not acceptable, HWC

/coont, farknut, shiatstain - any of those would be fine

Well I don't think people are anticipating any toilet paper shortages in the near future so that could explain some of the lackluster sales.

Reading's expensive, time-consuming, and requires comprehension. Shiat-posting, however, remains free & nearly instant on Twitter.

uhhh headline misses the reality right in front of it.

"Piers Morgan Has Sold Vanishingly Few Books Despite Huge Twitter Following"

or to say:
People who like to hear him say stupid shiat, do so for free already, no need to pay for a book when he gives it out for free all the time.

I suspect a twitter user that wants to sell a book needs to ensure they do not keep a really active twitter account, or anything there was to know from them is likely already given out there, becomes irrational to pay for the book?

Lol that Ilhan Omar, who I'm sure Piers hates, has outsold him more than 4 to 1.

He gets it, that audience isn't reading a book. Pictures and captions. He should have included some textures like the Pat The Bunny book.

So he sold 2 copies then?

Wait did Piers stop slobbering on TFG's mushroom?

Piers wanking Morgan thought since he poisoned his own well in the British media market, he could reposition himself in the US outrage market.
(If you know anything about his lackluster career, this is a cycle he maintains: fark up in UK, move to US, tank in US, run back to UK, lather, rinse, repeat)

He forgot two things:
One: the US outrage market is way, way, way beyond his poutrage at a woman who had the good sense to ghost him
Two: He's Piers cockwomble Morgan, loathed by the planet at large

Arguably the worst choice he made (and trust me, he's in a race to the bottom on that one) was linking his whole schtick to Meghan and Harry. He can't change it now, and that's all he's known for at this point to most passive media users.

He makes Ted Cruz appear likable.
