Geez, Catholics. Really going for the hard sell on the school name, aren't you?

TFA says the school is located near Pharmacy Lane, so that's good, right?

That...that really is the name of the school.

Yet more evidence towards my theory of Abrahamic religions being death cults.

Look at those mild Oxygen and ICU demands for a virus that was barely even on the radar two weeks ago.

I wonder how many dead kids will take before we start taking this pandemic seriously?

Now that I think about it who am I kidding we're never going to do that.

There won't be many.

This is still an old people's disease.

Yes, let's wait until hospitals and ICUs are bulging again before we do something.  We already know that it's more contagious, how about we start mitigation now?

Hey, I went to Precious Blood Elementary, just not that one.  They're all over.

After 12 years of Catholic religious instruction, I still don't know why the Catholic Church chose to adopt cannibalistic doctrine.  The early church could have picked any number of rituals to emphasize different aspects of the gospel, and yet they chose the one that symbolizes eating human flesh.

This is a local church... I don't get the naming.  How do they not realize how odd it sounds.

Religious folk say a lot of odd things in church out of tradition and don't think twice about them. Things that sound ridiculous to non-indoctrinated ears.

FFS, who names a school Precious Blood?  Just asking for a shooting.

Oh, Canada.  Nevermind.

Heh, I live half a mile away from there, always was amused by the goth name. And yeah, it's on Pharmacy Ave so I'm getting a kick (already got douible-vaxxed).

They have one in Chicago also.  You can see it from the Eisenhower expressway if you dare to lift your head to look out the window.

Wow! More than one? That...that kinda creeps me out. And, yes, I've noticed the tendency for the Catholic religion to use lots of cannibalistic parallels.

But, I'd be willing to imagine your elementary school education is head & shoulders above mine. I attended a public school in the suburbs of Atlanta from 1970 to 1976. In third grade, we studied Georgia "history." Our textbook, "History of Georgia" by E. Merton Coulter mentioned, "...slaves were far from discontented. They lived in small cabins that kept them warm and dry, had plenty of food, and they were often treated by their masters to barbecues and picnics, where they had a great frolic."
