Who would have thought that nice looking boy could turn out to be such a monster?

Seeing Marilyn Manson anywhere outside of one of his "creepy" videos is like touring a low-budget haunted house with all the lights on.

Well with that taste in men I might have a shot with her too.

If she doesn't want to relocate to Nashville, I have a nice spot for her right here in Wyandotte Michigan

Imagine being such a broken person you are lucky enough to score the calibre of Evan Rachel Wood, and your first instinct is to treat her like used toilet paper.

Also, Evan, honey, I don't want to victim blame, but what the ever loving fark.

It's not clear from the article, but it looks like she's using this as a basis to request relocation to Nashville.  If there's a child custody order in place, you generally can't just up and move out of state without the permission of your ex or the court.

Still, I don't think "I need to modify the custody order to move 2000 miles away, because a deranged psycho with the resources of a multimillionaire wants to find and rape my kid" is the slam dunk argument she thinks.

Yeah, especially when the father of the child says this

According to Daily Mail, Bell, 35, filed a motion in response, claiming Wood's allegations "[defy] credibility."

"I frankly do not understand what is happening," he said. "Either Evan's claims that she is receiving 'death threats' are true and Jack is not safe in her care, or they are not true and she is withholding our son from me for other reasons of her own invention."

I'm sure the father of the child did not just completely disregard her claims and then try to use them against her as ammo in a custody battle. I pretty sure he had his lawyers and investigators look into them, and probably from his personal experience with her and what they discovered, decided that these claims were bs.

Maybe she figures if he tries to find her and wanders outside Nashville it will be a self-solving problem.

She might be right.

Jesus McSordid: Who would have thought that nice looking boy could turn out to be such a monster?

I was kind of surprised, not because I was some big MM fan, or that I think her claim have no merit. More because I always thought the whole MM persona was a huge fake act and in his real life he was just some boring dude who collected money from angry teens.

He got offended when he found out that his role models (like Alice Cooper) were nice, normal people on their days off, so I'm not too surprised. He confused stage personas for reality.

Trent Reznor settled down and works for Disney (like the brilliant "Soul" soundtrack), despite being a total dick when he toured with Manson. Manson, on the other hand, has always been an "edgy" 14-year-old at heart.

The dude has always given off sex creep vibes. The fact that she was unable to perceive that about him speaks volumes about her lack of judgment. I think she wants to be a better judge of character, but man she is SLOW to see the obvious, which speaks volumes about her intelligence.

In other words, I sympathize with her and I want to believe the best about her, but her actions make that difficult. As for him? He's always been a lost cause and a trash culture pimp for trashy people.

And then off the the next round of horrible behavior.

She was a teenage girl, who have notoriously bad taste in men (I know, because I still share it), and he groomed her to thinking this sort of relationship was healthy.

Some of the smartest girls I knew in high school were dating adult men who were obviously bad for them. I mean, beyond the 22-year-old attracted to a 15-year-old-who-looked-12 level of bad. Like no job or prospects or much education.

It is possible that someone can be a victim of horrific abuse, and completely independent of that, can also be a completely shiat human being.

I believe in general what ERW described as MM's conduct is true.

I also believe it is possible she is the type of person who lacks the scruples not to drag her kid through the mud to score some points, or just get what she wants.  That is what this sounds like.

She's openly doing this in a court filing. Her husband's custody situation has nothing at all to do with her past with Marilyn Manson, but she wants to convince a judge that it does.

Especially when it comes to child custody.  I've been following the Kim Blandino story(there's a farking rabbit hole for you) and the things people will do "for the children" are utterly ruthless.

This incident has hammered home the truism that when people tell you who they are, believe them.

When a man has no less than 12 credible accusations ranging from emotional abuse to rape,
It's time to believe the women.

When a man brags about having a "rape room",
it's time to believe the women.

When a man has already faced sexual assault charges (in the purest sense of the phrase),
it's time to believe the women.

When a man builds a soundproof glass box to lock partners in,
It's time to believe the women.

She CAN change him - you just don't understand. " He's very sweet when he hasn't been drinking.  Those outbursts are just because he's tired and he likes to be dramatic.  Sure the bondage and torture went a little further than it should have but it's only happened a few times and i let him know i didn't really like it. One day, you'll see.  He'll grow out of it.  When the baby comes, he'll settle down. "

One of my friends works for canadian foreign affairs and has multiple ambassadorial assignments under her belt. She fluently speaks over 9 languages. Didnt prevent her from having a stupid cokehead scumbag as the father to her daughter. Emotional intelligence is quite different from book intelligence

He seems like a perfectly lovely fellow. I don't understand why he hangs onto this look. Most artists allow for change, they'll reinvent themselves. I'm not saying he needs to release an album of Pop Standards but, of all the people to not give a f**k about what others think, you wonder if it ever crossed his mind to change things up a bit. I guess the same rule applies.

And honestly if Manson threatened my life I would laugh at his fat out of shape ass. At this point he seems like a huge joke and not some kind of Epstein level villain with a private army of killers or something.

I have red the Page Six article, and the Daily Fail one, and I haven't read a damn thing about her thinking she could change him. Am I missing something?

This article is more about Wood and her ex fighting over their son. I don't know either person, but her ex does have rights to see his son. However, if she is that paranoid, and has evidence to fear for her life, then I get it. She might and probably is over exaggerating, but it does seem like she has ptsd from her involvement with Manson. She might be way to paranoid, and ran off, because of that. In her head, she is protecting her kid, but in reality the kid might not have to be that protected.

This could be a case where neither are the baddies, and Wood still needs more help from her trauma.
