Don't know about MVP, but ROY should be Mac Jones.

Well it SHOULD have been Derrick Henry but...

Dan Campbell.

Not for the Lions, mind you, but for everyone else.

I hadn't really thought about. These are current odds:
NFL MVP race heading into Week 14
Tom Brady +175
Josh Allen +500
Aaron Rodgers +600
Kyler Murray +1000
Dak Prescott +1200
Patrick Mahomes +1600
Matthew Stafford +1600
Jonathan Taylor +1800
Justin Herbert +1800
Lamar Jackson +2500
Cooper Kupp +4000

After Brady it's Taylor in Indianapolis (assuming offensive players).  His production efficiency is double or almost double the second best players in so many categories.

/He gets to do it for one more week and then Belichick creates his career limiting blueprint.

Not exactly the day to make this point, but he didn't lose the game last night.

Oh come on!  He connected on all but one passing attempt last night, and even that one took a solid defensive effort to prevent it being completed!

I was thinking they should have done one of those "handoffs" where the QB shovels it forward as the running back sweeps in front of him just to get that percentage to 75%.

Kyler Murray or Jonathan Taylor, these are easy choices.

Nick Chubb is my personal favorite tho.   He has a legit shot at breaking the Browns' rushing records.  If you don't know who owns most of those records, you should try the Politics tab instead.

The Browns records SHOULD be Nick Chubb.  Jim Brown's should be with Baltimore.  I know the agreement was to leave the name, colors, AND statistics, but that was always stupid.  Jim Brown rushed IN Cleveland, but never for these Browns.

I was pissed that they called those two pass plays in the fourth. If he had finished 1-1 we could've had a snarky headline writer going with the PERFECT MAC JONES LEADS PATS PAST BILLS joke.

I'd vote for Taylor, but if the Colts miss the playoffs he won't be winning the MVP.

I know one shouldn't complain about a division win, or 7 game winning streak, or being first in the division and conference, but running on 3rd and 13, in a close game with the wind at your back...

Shows a lot of faith in the defense and worked out this time, but in general the play calling all season hasn't shown a belief in Jones as a passer.

Hard to get a good comparison, but there was a December game in 2001 in Buffalo (Gregg Williams 2-11 at the time) where Tom Brady went 19-35-237 0-1 and New England won 12-9.
Then a December 22nd game in Foxboro against Miami (9-5) Brady was 11-19-108  (yes 108), again no touchdowns.  New England won 20-13

It was Brady's 2nd season / first starting but it sort of shows that early Brady wasn't the 2007 Brady; the passing offense, particularly in the red zone, requires a level of confidence in taking care of the ball before the training wheels come off (Insert Drew Bledsoe joke here).

Jones throws most balls better than Brady did at this point in his career.  Just not the most important one - the one that hits a TE or slot receiver on the fingertips in stride or in a place a defender can't get to it.  2026 Mac Jones will need to be a 29-35-350 3-0 player.

It almost has to be Brady, esp. since the Buc's defense is not as good as last year. You cab make a case for Murray, too, of course. The only knock on Brady this year is his INTs (10) but against 34 TDs, that's still damned good, IMO.

I suppose Taylor has to be in the mix based on his staggering numbers compared to the rest of the league (he's over 300 yards ahead of Mixon who's in second place).

Same thing with Cooper Kupp. He's got a 500 yard lead on the second place WR (Waddle) and 6 catches of 40+ yards.

Brady will get it because he's Brady.

There is no play in sports I love more than a return man being taken down by the kicker.

Can't argue with it either.   As much as I despise the Ravens, they were the Browns and this new team is something else.

Chubb is 7th in franchise rushing yards and 2nd in Y/A.   He can move up to 4th by the middle of next season by passing Marion Motley, Kevin Mack, and Greg Pruitt.  If he really hauls ass  he can catch Mike Pruitt for 3rd place behind only Leroy Kelly and JB.

I just want the MVP this year to not be a QB. Is that to much to ask?
