With all the drugs thrown overboard off the coast, has anyone ever thought to drug test any of those massive whale/dolphin suicidal beachings? Seriously, they swim through a cloud of coke (or fentynal or ecstacy or heroin or) in the water and go insane?

I'm guessing it would take a farkton for a whale to even notice.

My daughter, who is going to school in Miami, recently posted on Instagram "there's no snow here so people just pass around baggies of artificial snow - how nice!"

That's nice work.  Those 69lbs of coke will make for a real coup when the DA makes his case about the 42lbs of coke that was run up by the Diminuez cartel.  No way a jury lets those perps walk after seeing the photo of 35lbs of cocaine sitting in the back of the speedboat.

There's a treasure floating up atop the ocean where the plane crashed
A nice amount of cocaine stashed
The dolphins and the fishes nibble at the bags
It's a bit of a drag

Possibly so for some. Given their sensitive hearing, my money on the majority is probably being too close to active sonar at the wrong place wrong time.

Something else I've thought about. Especially with the Navy testing weapons grade sonar the past decade.

Well, marine mammals have plagues too.

But much more likely whales are driven to kill themselves by beaching on shore by various navies basically sneaking up next to their beds and setting off a:

right next to their ears at very frequent random intervals.

Maybe for ecstacy or heroin.

But it only takes 2 mg of fentanyl to kill a person, so if the whale is 500x larger, it would only take a gram to kill a whale, which is a tiny amount.

I'd be holding the phone for quite awhile before making the call to the Coast Guard.

Take it aboard, make a one-time deal with some dealer, and leave town ASAP? Or call it in?

Quite the dilemma.

You know it happens.

It would be nice if they had put something, anything, for scale in the photo. Those bricks could be the size of Legos for all we know.

Meth from the so-called superlabs can be that low and it's arguably way more potent.

Ya beat me to it but I would simply add the endlessly deafening noise we make, in general. Low frequencies can really travel. Imagine if your living room was not merely subject to an endless parade of garbage trucks, tractor-trailers and coal-rolling morons but that you could never move. Suicide might come to seem a blessed relief. Death just for a few moments of siiiillllleeeeeennnnnnnnnncccccccccce

So many movie plots = find a suitcase of money.
B-o-r-I-n-g
The more likely scenario = come across a bale of drugs.  How does a normie monetize a pile of drugs?
They finally made a series about that, & we got Heisenberg.
