Not-so-CSB time: I had some quac today but it had chunks of avocado peel in it.

We are not fans of packaged, processed foods, but damn those squeeze tubes of guac are handy. The narrow spout and the air-free packaging helps that stuff last a long time.

/good avocados are rare around here

I just finished off two guac-dogs. Hotdogs with guacamole.

Oh, sure, but when I eat guac like that, people look at me funny.

Get a real union. You can get an old school revolutionary union like IWW if you don't like union local bureaucracy or no-strike clauses, or the UAW if you want a stronger strike fund and pressure from US locals on GM. Though I don't know if the UAW has international reach. IWW does, which is why I mentioned them.

There are always (or should always be) options if you need representation or your representation is too close to the company.

I'm sure that such closeness makes them popular among employers. It's so nice when the union just dictates changes to members. The only time that should happen is when the union is willing and able to make you whole. Oh, the company pays me 30% less? So the union pays me that 30% instead, since there's no vote? No? How old school do you want this to go? Anyone got a rail and some tar?
