Lots of ways to die in that thing. Neat build though.

But what I really want is one of these...

I'm sure that's not loud at all.

That looks amazingly fun and also super-dangerous. I note that in their video they never seem to be flying higher than like 15 feet above the ground.

Just once I'd like to see his tie get caught in some spinamathingy and rip his neck out from under his head.

Just once.  That's all it'd take.

With enough battery power to last 5 minutes.

Sure. People (which is to say, most people on earth) who can barely operate a motor vehicle with wheels competently can't possibly go wrong with something that flies.

This seems like a similar moment to the beginning of social media, when some asshole said something like, "I want to connect the world and then everybody will understand each other."

As long as the electronic systems will shut down *all* motors if one of the motor drives (ESCs) has a fault.

I mean, I'd rather not lose my lunch flipping wildly through the sky before I die by smashing into the earth.

If they want the American market it needs gun mounts.

That would be the 'Murican market.

Of course, those types wouldn't get in anything that wasn't rolling coal so I don't think we need to worry about them.

I imagine it would need some pretty serious obstacle avoidance systems.

Loose shoelaces flopping around near two big rotors, no helmet or any kind of safety gear, getting bucked off and sort of stagger-stepping clear of the spinning blades... I can't believe this guy survived long enough to build a working prototype.

$22,000 will reserve a build slot for you.  They plan to build 12 in 2022.  They have 64 build slots reserved as of a few minutes ago, so it could be a while before you get yours.

I heard they use a very effective Machine Learning system that incorporates the pilot.

Crash once really bad and both the machine and the pilot will never fly again.
