I like the "I don't give a shiat" look, don't get me wrong.

Who would have thought that a matronly dullard whose only trick is to mumble over a background track could have captured the imagination of kids who were eating tide pods only a few years ago?

Don't think there was a decent 007 theme song since Live and Let Die, and the past couple of decades since Brosnan the theme songs have been like the Super Bowl halftime show; overhyped garbage that one will never again once the credits roll through (or we fast forward).

Yeah. Doors open in your career when you get the cleavage working for you, I guess.

Because it sure as hell ain't her mumble-singing or her lyrics.

But that was just more marketing. She was selling herself to the misunderstood emo girls and boys back then. Now she's selling herself to the mainstream because there's way more money in it.

It would be like if Siouxsie Sioux had suddenly decided to try dressing and singing like Madonna. I find it disingenuous and obvious.

Tina Turner's Goldeneye was pretty good.  But the songs tend to mirror the quality of the movies.

It's almost like young people go through changes. When did you stop being mad and Miley Cyrus, or are you still holding on to that rage?

My understanding is that she didn't want to be sexualized when she was still a minor, but that changed once she became legally (and emotionally?) an adult.  I can respect that.

Yeah, they're more like my co-worker in his fifties complaining that she doesn't dress sexy and smile more. Like, are you seriously complaining that a teenager isn't structuring her personality and life choices around giving old creeps a boner?
