So their drive-thrus will now be closed during business hours?

Look, I know they aren't high end, ultra traditional, sourced from Mexico, etc etc.. but I enjoyed the novelty of Jack in the Box tacos when I first moved out west. I thought what a curious thing it was to stuff the taco full of all of it's toppings and then deep fry the whole thing so you have a little corn hot pocket of taco stuff. I preferred them cold though, so I'd buy a few and fridge em.

Also really liked the Sourdough Jack.

Del Taco is one of those, "it's not bad for what it is places."

Many of us who eat there still miss Naugles.

I feel like I've never lived near a Del Taco. I don't remember the last time I saw one. Maybe that'll change, now.

Del Taco was crappier than Jack in the Box but had better tacos iirc

So... stoner food chain buys other stoner food chain.

For everyone in the southeast confused about what this means:  it's like Zaxby's bought Bojangles.

I really miss Naugles. Unfortunately, Del Taco has also left my area so I don't even have that anymore.

My boyfriend has food tastes like a toddler. Can't stand spicy, doesn't eat most vegetables, and will eat pizza or chicken strips everyday if given the chance.

He loves the shiat out of Jack in the Box tacos, and spicy chicken sandwich. Go figure.

They have this thing called "loaded queso fries" which are complete junk food, but quite satisfying.  I've tried to limit myself to twice a year.

Del Taco's fish tacos are not disappointing.

IMO only the Sliders from White Castle beat Jack In The Box tacos in the category of "Best fast food for when you're really drunk".

It's been a couple decades since I last drunkenly consumed a bag of Jack in the Box tacos. I'm guessing that they haven't gotten any better.

No, no, Jack in the Box is for stoners, not drunks.  They have a "late night munchie meal" with lots of random ingredients combined in strange ways.

Then again, so is White Castle.  They even made a farking movie about it.

Those aren't mutually exclusive groups to cater to, especially at 2:00 in the morning.  It's cheap, salty, fatty and greasy food for drunks to put on their stomach before they go to bed.

They'd better not fark up Del Taco the way Del Taco farked up Naugles when they bought them. Or the way Carl's absolutely farked over Green Burrito.

/And no, the new "Naugles" are nothing like the original ones

As long as they bring back the macho beef burrito......

I hope they do a combo restaurant.  I would love it if the local Jack in the Box had some Del Taco offerings.  Del Taco's simplistic chicken soft tacos hit the spot and I liked the Taco Thursday option for them when I lived near one.
