Solid headline, Subs.

The Panthers started the season 3-0 but are currently 5-7. Star running back Christian McCaffrey is out for the season with an ankle injury while the team has started three different quarterbacks.

So why fire the offense coordinator now instead of at the end of the season? Do they still think they can get into the playoffs?

Because Matt Rhule needs a scapegoat.

That, and it turns out Brady may not have been ready for an NFL coordinator's chair.

I think teams need to realize what their problems really are. I'm not sure if Joe Brady is the problem, but I'm absolutely certain that Sam Darnold & the one-armed wonder Cam Newton are a problem.

All the creative play calling in the world won't matter if you don't have players competent enough to execute the strategy.

Nana's Vibrator: You can't make chicken salad out of chicken Cam Newton.

I'm not a Cam Newton fan, but to question his toughness? They guy has taken more brutal hits than any qb in the past 30 years.  It's the reason he's washed up at a relatively early age for modern NFL quarterbacks.

Yes, I know he didn't fall on a fumble in the Super Bowl. That's one play. Given his record of taking hits, I'll given him the benefit of the doubt. He choked, he was not chicken.

Eh, it was just a play on the saying "you can't make chicken salad out of chicken sh*t."  I wouldn't really question his toughness either.  Cam Newton can/could probably do eveything any NFL player can do at any position, except pass the ball accurately and generally run the intermediate and advanced tiers of a passing offense.

The chicken sh*t in my post was Cam's inability to pass the ball, which appears to have helped a man lose his job.
