(Dutch News)   You hold one little seance amongst the childrens' graves in the local graveyard and suddenly their parents are screaming about desecration. You'd have thought they'd want to know if little Johan or Loes were happy   (dutchnews.nl) divider line

They should have just tried to resurrect Edgar Allen Poe.

That fence around the cemetery is there for a reason.

Did they damage anything? No.
Did they do something actually disrespectful, like urinate on a grave? No.
Did they physically disturb visitors there to visit the graves? No.
What actually happened? Some people went into a cemetery and said some words, while a camera filmed them.

While this whole thing seems like a waste of time, imho, it's hard to imagine anything of real concern was happening, there.

People pray and talk to gravestones all the time. It could be argued regular visitors often attempt to "communicate" with the dead. Some bored paranormal fans tried the same thing, in a slightly different way...may not be super tasteful, but not specifically disrespectful. Meh.

Is it to keep people out, or something in?

It's because people are dying to get in.

It was a somber event. They didn't even crack open a cold one.

Subby, you'd have also thought people would like to play "guess who i mean from the first letter" games.

As we've all seen many times, the undead love that game to death. It's almost as if the "pros" are just randomly putting out letters to the audience and knowing that statiscally they're guaranteed hits.

"I see the letter M figuring prominently. Does anybody here know anybody for whom the letter M figures prominently?"

/ And yes, the spirits go to all that trouble only to ever tell us they're at peace or happy. FFS, tell us something important that only you could know arsehole non-existent spirits!

Depends on how old the cemetery is. In some cases, the answer is yes.

First they say they'd do anything to get their kid back but when someone tries they have a problem with it. It's like that Meatloaf song.
