Last year I used a QR code generator to put QR codes on the outside of xmas packages.
A rick roll of course...and dancing hamsters.

I do find the full page refresh on desktop when you add a comment or refresh for new comments to be quite jarring.

/not saying everything has to be a SPA, but those two things would benefit from some updating

For people who say "Craigslist", why fix what isn't broken?  I much prefer a text heavy website to a picture or gimmick heavy one.

I had to run gopher and veronica sites. So, 90s web sites all look fine to me.

Fan made website for a game made in 1995. I'll replay this game from time to time, always amazed the website is still up and running.

No, I remember back about ~1995, when he was posting his newsletter to Usenet newsgroups. Pretty sure the website came after that.

Yeah, that would be the year I discovered it.

Archive.org has it going back to November 96.

That's right around the time I first logged on to the web.  I remember chatting at theglobe.com and a couple other very rudimentary HTML chat sites back in the day.  And the pr0n?  That was like wild west for a newly graduated high school student.

That being said, there is a lot of very useful information on that site if you like to smoke your meat.

It's cheating to use one that's been broken since the '90s!

I love how poorly it's aged. I'm like Dorian Gray - my Web site ages so that I don't.
