Eh, it's a meh car from Maserati.  It doesn't even do 185.  Why is there a museum for it?

It's an interesting tax idea, if I understand it right. You pick some podunk town to pay some of your tax to. In return, they send you a gift basket of local stuff that is untaxed. At the end of the year you get to deduct the payment from your standard taxes.

I'd send Portland a couple bucks if they sent me some Voodoo Donuts.

That's basically the idea.  Although they had to curb it a bit because it was becoming like a catalog so towns with famous food were raking it all in, urban areas were losing revenue, and the original podunks still weren't getting anything.

I'd really happily offer a donation for a card and the knowledge I kept a place like that going.

Yea, I don't think the Ghibli Museum will have much trouble getting donations.  The Japanese love their Ghibli.

I was lucky enough to get to go there on a trip almost 5 years back. Small, but totally worth it if a fan of the films. If not from Japan, it does require booking well in advance. The tickets come with cells from a movie so I kept mine.

It's a fantastic place.  The wife and I went when we were living in South Korea, fifteen years back.  We need to plan a trip back, now that the kid is getting old enough to appreciate it.
