He said get monoclonal antibodies in you as soon as possible, so I did. By noon, I had the monoclonal antibodies in me.... Then I took a dose of ivermectin.

Takes the real treatment then follows with some horse paste up his ass. My guess is doing the right/logical/scientific thing literally makes idiots like this feel sick and unbalanced so they always need a chaser of derp to balance themselves back out.  Definitely explains why they show up at a hospital but then stop trusting doctors or start demanding far-off-label craziness.

The other day, I had a migraine.

I took two Advil and then watched Adult Swim for two hours. Turns out Aqua Teen Hunger Force is a viable cure for migraines!

Frankly I'd rather eat elk meat then do whatever that Turkish witchdoctor says.

Upon reflection, it is unsurprising that Rogaine can dupe people into following his medical advice.  If he can convince folks to drink horse semen or let rats crawl over them while in a coffin, getting a vitamin drip seems like small potatoes.

As much as I hate to admit it, we'd better get used to the term PRESIDENT Dude Bro.  Cthulhu help us.

At least he was smart enough to get vaccinated and not giving all the credit to house pate... er horse paste...

Or most likely, none of that made any difference, because the covid infection did what was expected in fully vaxxed people, showed few symptoms, then his body fought it off. But yeah, his giving credence to Rogan isn't going to help us any

So they didn't want to take a vaccine because it was only available under EUA, but the first solution when they get sick is to take a treatment only available under EUA, followed by horse paste up the ass.

That makes sense.

"We got back on Saturday. On Sunday, I cold plunge and steam every day," White said. "So I get out of the cold plunge and steam, and I spray the eucalyptus and I was like, 'What the hell?' I couldn't smell anything. So I opened the bottle and start sniffing the bottle of eucalyptus, and I couldn't smell and I was like, 'I know what this means.' I literally got out of the steam and got on my phone and called Joe Rogan.

When you want to sell this stuff to Goop Girls, you call it holistic wellness.  When you want to sell this stuff to Brogans, you call it Bodyhacking.  Sounds more alpha.

I actually listened to his podcast like a decade ago, when it was just talking about ancient aliens and hocking fleshlights. It was fun.

Nowadays, he is too far gone into RWNJ territory. He talks to too many alt-right douches.

Let's just hope he doesn't decide to run for office.

Well, drip means stylish outfit in slang, and nads are, well, nads.  So I guess we're talking about a merkin?

Same, I yearn for the time he was known for DMT and 2012 Mayan stoner silly shiat. Crazy that he has such a powerful platform now, wish he didn't step into politics. Oh well, I guess the bros needed a leader.

So he's vaccinated but yeah, it was Rogan's advice that cured him and not the vaccine doing it's job.

They just put more trust in what people they know and respect tell them vs putting more trust in scientific studies and institutions tell them. Obviously the former is going to expose you to some bullshiat. Something like 90% of people recover just fine from covid so if word gets out that rubbing pennies on your taint is the magical cure for covid, people could go around rubbing pennies on their taint, then they get better and they attribute the magic penny treatment to saving their life. This time it just so happened to be horse paste and fish medicine instead of taint pennies. The thinking is hey my smart buddy survived covid with no problem, he must know what to do I'll ask him. The logic is flawed because he might have just gotten lucky his actions may or may not have saved him and to know what does or doesn't work you need to look at large numbers of data points, but it's not that stupid. It did get him to take monoclonal antibodies which is probably what the science and evidence based approach would have gotten you (possibly with a few more other things and a few less things that are bullshiat but don't hurt).

Honestly this sort of shiat from both the right and the left really pisses me off. There is always an attempt to infantilize and demonize the other side instead of an attempt to understand and engage with them. If you try to understand their thinking you can try to point out the flaws in their reasoning but if you just insult them and say they must feel sick any time they use their brain they will simply react the same way anyone does when you insult their intelligence, by doubling down. In someone like Dana White's mind it's perfectly reasonable to ask his smart friend who survived covid without a hitch what he did and then copy him and calling him stupid isn't going to make him change his mind because it worked for him, but if you actually take the time and effort to engage with them and talk about their reasoning with them you have opportunities to help people refine their epistemological processes.

Now I know it's silly to ask you to engage with Dana White, I'm not asking you to do that, but I'm sure you treat all conservatives who make the same decisions he did with the same derision and dismissal, even ones you know personally. If you don't even try to understand why they act the way they do in earnest you're doing yourself and our society a disservice because the only way we actually fix a broken America is with people who want to make the effort. Do you like living in a country where we're in danger of a majority of the people voting for Donald farking Trump to run the farking thing? Do you like living in a country where people resist treatment that allows a deadly pandemic to continue to spread and mutate? No? Well then you have to try and actually get through to these people instead of just mocking and dismissing them from your ivory tower and the first step is mutual understanding and respect, which you, and pretty much everyone else in America, has failed at spectacularly.

At any point should it be required for conservatives to stop attacking ever non-conservative? Why are conservatives never expected to understand anyone else?

Why is the conservative mindset so willing to go for fascism and authoritarian leaders? Why is always the responsibility of non-conservatives to understand conservatives?

Watching people do BSAB while blaming only 1 side needs to stop. America is failing because people like you who refuse to hold republicans to the same standards you expect out of everyone else.

I don't need to know why people make stupid decisions, I need only concern myself with how those stupid decisions affect me and the people I care about. You want us to show empathy, to relate to the poor, downtrodden Republicans who we just don't understand? Yeah, no. Remember this when that thought creeps back into your head:

Nah, I'll just celebrate when their mouth-breathing Nazi asses die because they shot themselves in the dick like their AM radio or podcast Daddy surrogates told them to.

Rest in piss ,🤞, bald man named Dana who totes isn't attempting to compensate for something.

I'm vaccinated (need my booster) and I wouldn't go that route, but I'm not pissed that someone tried an alternative and it worked.
