I swear the guy must not sleep. It seems like he's cranking out a film every month.

Speaking of Hulu has got Pig streaming and it's fantastic.

My word.

I freely admit that one of my favorite portrayals of Renfield was Arte Johnson in "Love at First Bite".

He took Dwight Frye's Renfield and ran with it, but Dwight Frye's Renfield will always be my #1 favorite.

Oh sweet FINALLY a fresh take from Hollywood!!!

I'm super curious to see what these "Draculas" are and what threat to humanity they may pose.

Allow me to share your sarcasm.

I'm sorry, but this has been done, and done really well, to the point where it's unnecessary.   The *ONLY* reason it and other films like it are done to death is that no one has to pay the creator of the characters for their use because they're public domain.

It's free source material for Hollywood.

But we've seen pretty much every variation of the Dracula story possible.  We've seen scary Dracula, spooky Dracula, gay Dracula, black Dracula, comedic Dracula, sexy female Dracula, the list goes on and on.

This well is drier than the neck of a 3,000 year old mummy.   Find something new to work with, Hollywood.

You want a tip?  Try making "The Ruum", by Arthur Porges.

It's new, never been done, and an original story.

That's true for any Nick Cage movie. It's a flip of the coin as to whether it will be great or crap.

Nic Cage is His generations Christopher Lee

He's a great actor, but takes work in anything he himself finds fun.

And there's nothing wrong with that

To be fair, his comedies can be good.  "Raising Arizona" had me howling like a baboon in the theater.

So, a Dracula comedy.  Which it will be, but not as intended.

I can never even think about watching it again.

I think that's why it's great, few mainstream releases can make audiences cringe and feel dirty like that one.

It's beautiful on how disturbing it is sexually without showing anything.

Willy's Wonderland.  No dialogue yet he creates an iconic character that is somehow also a meta version of other Nick Cage performances.  Seen it twice, will see again.

Will he play Dracula similarly to how he tried to play Superman?

Will his Dracula get a container of bees dropped on his head?  Or his face torn off and swapped with a Van Helsing?

Guess that meant they're going to be LGBQT and probably butt buddies.

He's pretty good in it. It's also arguably the worst movie he's ever done. That movie is a pile of crap. If he wasn't in it, even Sci-fi would be embarrassed to broadcast it.

I'm of his generation, and I completely disagree, because I respect them both for their work. Cage has been in some clunkers, but yes, he can act , see " Face Off", " Raising Arizona", " Wild At Heart", " Leaving Las Vegas".

If I were to compare someone to Christopher Lee, it would be John Malkovich or even Johnny Depp.
