Sierra Asada or 'mountain of meat' is my favorite dish at the local Mexican place.

Too late to save the Donner party, though.

As much as I hate snow, this would suck.

Scientists and water managers say that at some point California's snowpack could simply disappear. This would leave the state without the crucial spring and summer melt-off that fills rivers and streams, nourishes plants and animals, and provides a huge chunk of the water supply. It would also be devastating for the ski industry.

God forbid we forget about the ski industry.

Well, for every one of you who hated snow, and liked to snowbird to some fancy places during the cold-weather months so that you wouldn't have to suffer, burning resources like we made them ourselves--SUFFER.  Start feeling bad.  Start feeling really bad.  Because your kids are going to, and they never even saw a star in the sky, after you got done buying Elon's cars so that he could ruin the night sky too.  You took it all, and now you whine about how you got shafted by corporations.  The ones you keep giving all your money to.

And all you skiers can kiss my ass too.  Goddamn, finally  you're starting to notice.  Finally, you're getting hit where you live.  I hope you enjoy your farking IKON pass, as you fly all over the country looking for some snow.  Why do you think they introduced those things?  Because it causes even MORE CONSUMPTION, duh.  And now you can have the fun of going looking for a proper ski hill once the snow stops coming, since it's very important to you.  You already fly 2000 miles to go skiing for a weekend, what's a trip to California?   What do you mean, it's not ski-in, ski-out anymore?  YOU PAID FOR THIS!  How dare you be inconvenienced, the foremost consumers of the entire world.  This is SKIING.

Too bad everyone under you is still going to suffer a hell of a lot  more.

It's California. Expect Extreme Skiing on the rocks.

No mention about how LA's DWP has been sucking the Owens Valley dry for a hundred years. Or the rape of Mono Lake.

But we need water for our golf courses and to flush our turds out to Catalina.... boooo to unregulated expansion.

Last hike up to the glacier was a big sad. All the ash from the fires covered it so the the unreflected sunlight was absorbed and melted it more. I suspect it will be gone in my lifetime.
