Wow. That was my biggest problem with Obama.

If we are a nation that believes in due process, then we can't go around drone striking people without a trial.

It will be interesting when anyone can afford death drones. Maybe they will be covered under second amendment protectors.

With Biden its quality over quantity.

Ideally the number of drone bombing on countries we aren't even at war with will completely stop.

Biden ended a war that had been going on for two decades.

He deserves a farking statue for that.

Hopefully they are all being redeployed in easy range of Ukraine.

Credit where credit is due. Hopefully it keeps that way. Hopefully he tackles cleaning up the CBP and ICE soon. That is a festering wound long overdue.

Does the author ever get around to citing any sources for all this info?

About half way down pg2 it became obvious this is all from somebodies fevered imagination and I stopped reading.

HECK YES Joe. Thank you. That's excellent. That's a big win for the USA and the whole world. You might not be able to legislate the UAS back the rule of law and the law of armed combat, but you can govern as if you did. Deserves the HERO tag.

Surely nobody would mind if we started drone bombing our own people though.

I've got a list.

But, he didn't do it before he became President, so I'm going to blame the Dems.

I'm mostly frustrated that he's not sending goon squads armed with vax guns to hunt the plague rats. I'm also frustrated that he's not replacing right wingers with decent immigrants like right wingers promised he would do. More of that please.

But he stumbled over a few words the other day, Commie-a-la bought an expensive pot in France, and Hunter's laptop was hacked by the jihad squad to take over the Jewish space lasers, so naturally trump is president for life and the WBF welterweight champion of the universe and beyond

And I laugh and give you another funny to make it 4 and yet, there is some sick truth underneath this statement that, with a little lobbying and a few Texas congressmen, I'm sure it's just a court case away from reality.

Ending a multi-decade, multi-trillion dollar war and stopping the summary execution of foreign nationals means nothing because my student loans have still not been forgiven!  We have to get our priorities straight here.

yeah... lets not forget that its only thanks to a leak (which they convicted the source for leaking) that it was an estimated 85% of the time the people killed were not the intended targets....

Obama should have ended that war; Trump should have ended that war; Biden did so he certainly gets a plus for that. But if not continuing endless war is the bar we have to employ as a measure of success at the expense of policies that will move the needle in Americans' lives then we really do need to question the role of government in life

I think so, but our bloodthirsty media wants him to be remembered for the fall of Afghanistan, so most people will remember that. It's unfair because the war was designed to fail from the beginning.

There's plenty of hobbyists who've put guns onto store-bought drones. Apparently the FAA disapproves strenuously, as it is illegal in the US to release anything whatsoever from any type of flying machine

It's the local policy, which he doesn't have much control over, which is going to be the biggest problem at election time.

Like voter suppression, gerrymandering, changing election laws etc.

They have a specific exemption from those rules, under strictly limited conditions. Presumably the same is true for firefighting aircraft, and afaik the Air Force isn't under the FAA's jurisdiction at all, so I suppose they can drop whatever they want on their land, for bomber training and the like.

Is it ok to release things from an aircraft if it on the ground and stationary?
