This is just tapering of asset purchases. Just adding less liquidity to this shiatshow. This is not even stopping, nor raising rates, nor selling off the balance sheet. They are so farked. And by "they" I mean the global financial system. And by "global financial system", I mean everyone.

/Who am I kidding
//They wont finish the taper before going all in again to prop this bullshiat up
///Powell has a 100m portfolio, you think he is going to let that die on his watch?

Another "Taper Tantrum," same thing happened last time the word taper was uttered by The Fed. Good luck raising rates. Lol.

Who is "Everyone"?  I never got a taste of that sweet fed money.  But I bet I am told asked by the government to pay for the cleanup of the mess.

Vote out ALL the politicians.  Time for the regular person to get a taste of that sweet teat of the money printer.

How well has it gone with the lifetime politicians?

If a lifetime politician says, and commits with a blood oath to cut their own guts out in the public square if they don't follow through, to give all the rest of us small fish a taste of the sweet teat of fed money that the whales suck off every day, they have my vote.  Especially if they vow, in their own life, that this time there will be no bailouts.  And that this time nobody is too big to fail.  And if a mega corp needs a bailout, for the good of the nation, the CEO will be decapitated in public, and all the other C level peronsel have to eat the corpse raw, including the bones.  Then they have my vote.

But we all know how this whole thing will play out.  The little guys will get a decade of ball kicking while bailing out the mega corps.  And we will rinse and repeat.  The rich will get richer, and the poor will be told to be happy they even get a shiat burger.

Yes, because an inexperienced "regular person off the street" would make such better decisions, definitely not be influenced by any of the usual factors or people. You're justifiably angry about the 2008 crash and the bailouts, but that has nothing whatsoever to do with your point. Your POV only works if you view everything in an unbelievably oversimplified black-and-white version of things.

Donald Trump was elected as a "non-politician" who was going to have enough money to be "above the influence of big money." We all saw how that worked out.

I didn't vote for trump.  So..... Lets only vote for politicians that will do the status quo and give bailouts to the mega corps?

Lets see what happens in the next crash?  I bet the politicians don't give me a taste of that sweet bailout teat.  And I bet the mega corps get ANOTHER taste of that sweet bail out teat.  Even though last time, they told us peeons that the last time was the last time the mega corps would get a taste of that sweet bail out teat.
