Is this real?  $3000/night just to stay in a star wars themed hotel?  And you can play with some fake light sabres and they have a lounge singer.  Well sign me up.

Like I've said before, the $6,000 for a group of 4 really isn't that bad. I mean, yeah it's alot for a family of four, but 4 friends all paying $1,500 each, not too terrible for a trip. The fact that it's ONLY two days and nights is what's bad, especially since this is supposed to be an immersive experience. Hell, just getting there, getting settled in the room and eating on the first day is going to take a good chunk of time just right off. With the ton of other groups all trying to get through their storyline, or whatever it is, seems like this would just be slowly moving through a 2 day long line waiting your turn to go through the next plot point and hardly any time to actually be immersed in what's going on.

What a bunch of bantha poodoo. She's not even singing in Ryl and her lekku don't wiggle at all.

/mostly what Dibikad said. This is the nerd equivalent of Mt. Everest where people are lined up to be pulled though the event as quickly as possible

If I'm paying $1500 for 2 nights, it better include Disney themed hookers.

For that kind of money, I want a chance to bang a twilek. I don't want to stand around with my kids and watch the one of the pool boys getting ready to bang a twilek.

I'd want a slave Leia. But if that's asking too much I'd settle for 3 ewoks. Maybe a dianoga in a hot tub filled with jello.

For that kind of money, it better include a 3-way with Aayla Secura and Ahsoka Tano.

/Rebels-era adult Ahsoka, not Clone Wars-era teenage Ahsoka
//do I look like Jeffery Epstein to you?
///Or Rosario Dawson Ahsoka, I'm not picky

I'm not in to those religious types anymore. I'll settle for Darth Atroxa and Darth Talon. You'll understand why "Peace is a lie." after you date a Jedi and they dump your booze collection down the drain because it's not good for you.

I made it through about half of the video and now I'm uncomfortable. Also as noted above, Quark's Bar at the Las Vegas Hilton looked this good nearly 25 years ago, and it was just the bar/souvenir shop attached to a $50 amusement ride.

It still pisses me off that the Hilton management thought that Michael Jackson was somehow a better draw that it basically evicted the Star Trek Experience and left it homeless, then Cedar Fair mishandled the whole thing by the numbers afterward (Why the fark did they even buy it in 2007? One year later, it was closed and finished - great management, guys)

They blame a decline in admissions, but that's total bulls hit. If you take over management of an attraction and there is a decline in ticket sales, maybe it's your management. None of that  was handled well. Paramount did its fans a disservice selling the attraction, Hilton did their customers a disservice in evicting them, and Cedar Fair executives deserve to be doused with buckets of roller coaster puke for mismanaging a great thing into nonexistence.

This is a whale hunt, right?

I'm using "whale" in the casino (or mobile game) meaning, the one sucker patron who blows enough money in a weekend to pay for a year of complimentary drinks.  Is there a better term, by the way?

Yup. A lot of being led from room to room by cast members to experience Star Wars-ish stuff: "We have to get down to engineering to get the blah blah blah working again! Follow me!"

Then after you complete the Event in engineering, it's "Now we need to get over to hydroponics, there's a problem with the blah blah blah! Follow me!" And you're off again, probably much closer than you realize to the parties in front of & behind you who are being led on the same path by a different cast member.

Forget Leia. Jar Jar's tongue puts him as Star Wars Fan's favorite character.

Engineering? Hydroponics? That's all Star Trek-ish stuff. I expect this to have more "find an Imperial spy" or maybe "recover Jedi holocron/similar McGuffin" kind of stuff.

Although if they need the guests to re-comboobulate the energy-mo-tron, or whatever, that would be hilarious because it would be a total fail in attempting to deliver a Star Wars-like experience.

I did that back in the 90's. I liked seeing all the Star Trek props on display while waiting in line and the moment when you transport onto the Enterprise was amazing. Still don't know how they did that trick. Standing on the bridge of was cool, but it seemed smaller than the TV one, and they hustled you out pretty fast. Then it just turned into one of those dumb motion simulator 3D movie rides. Quarks Bar was cool, but I was broke and didn't feel like paying 15 bucks for a fizzy green drink.
I think I got a bigger thrill seeing the original Enterprise model at the Smithsonian, just rotting away in the middle of the gift shop.
