OMG. That was really fun! Did that just make the movie by itself -and- the song by itself... tame? Thanks, Subby!

Eh.  I mean it wasn't bad, but you could probably smash a highlights real of that into a whole ton of songs and get pretty similar results

Damn, that's a good video. And despite what the person who made it says, I think it's actually better than the original one... Part of that is because the old one is using the low res footage, while the new one gets the 4K treatment. But this guy has some great timing on those cuts.

Every time I see Mad Max mentioned, I start fantasizing about a Mad Max/Pee Wee Herman crossover. No idea where I got the idea, but it was stuck with me and percolated for years.

That was a PERFECT pairing!

Fury Road is so incredibly overrated. I just don't get the love for it. It's just OK: A loud car chase movie in the desert, whoopity-doo. Charlize Theron was the only great part of it. Tom Hardy is scenery-chewing awful, as always. It was largely devoid of plot, too (we drive this way, pick up women, then we drive back and get water). If it had some musical numbers it might be The Blues Brothers (car chase/musical number/car chase/music number) but as it stands it's just Cannonball Run 2 with explosions.

Motorhead was a good band, though.

Is there a Dunning-Krueger equivalent for being wrong?  Because that guy has it.  He is so wrong I don't even think he knows it.

That was really well edited, and Motorhead was a great band.  They played rock and roll.

It sounded like it was played in a tin can, though.  Audio quality sucked.

I'm guessing <that's bait> because the Tom Hardy remark is a bit much, but yeah, it's pretty special to be so oblivious that you don't pick up on any of the themes or subtleties of the movie, while also being so far up your own ass that you can't appreciate the grand, visceral, technically-accomplished spectacle.

Yeah, there are quite a few on youtube--AC/DC of course, Judas Priest, The Prodigy, Metallica, Duran Duran, etc.

This one even uses a literally Fury-Road-themed song:

No.
Like Hank Hill said - you didn't make either thing better.
You made both things worse.
