Fark answer: "whatever's cheapest and comes in the biggest bottle lol alcoholism"

Real answer: I'm making an experimental batch of "spiced cranberry moonshine" starting by steeping cranberries and 190 proof Everclear for a week before straining and combining with a spice-mulled (cinnamon, clove, allspice, and nutmeg) apple cider and cranberry juice mixture. I'll let you know how it is in 8 days.

That sounds good, curious on how it'll turn out.

Unfortunately, I fall in closer to your first remark; albeit not the cheap stuff - bourbon on ice, splash of ginger beer.

Mulled wine.
Easy to make and something that's "new" again to a lot of people.  I love it.

List fails without a B&B

I recently discovered Hine Rare - mixed with Benedictine made the best B&B I've ever had... Delicious

I used to make tea, green loose leaf, and refill the pot till the water was clear and refill leaves if needed to stay warm.

Alcohol wise... a nice beer. I only ever drink beer anymore. But in this weather you can leave it in the kitchen or something and it's gonna be about as cold as in the fridge.

Ever try a chestnut?  They're disgusting.

Like eating a cotton ball that smells like feet.

Dude you're spot on. I grab the mixed nuts at the grocery store and I'm always grossed out by chestnuts. Why are they so awful? Why won't nut sellers replace them with something else?

Desecration of bourbon.
