Before it slowly loaded & then zoomed in, I was wondering if that was a product placement in Flubber that I missed at the time.

_/(goes to look at the schedule) SEA/FLA ... ooooh, there's a barn burner to start off the evening.  Any 7pm games look interesting? EDM/VGK might be ok. OTT/LAK could be interesting if OTT is full of angst from last night & the spanking they took.  BUF/DRW could be ok given the similar levels of ineptitude. MTL/PIT is probably the best game but I don't really like either team.  Decisions, decisions (or there's always stick with Seattle/Florida until 8pm & see what's then)

Sabres/Wings and Jets/Flames are the only games I care about, which means the broadcast for the latter wil include multiple comments about McJesus, because he was somewhere near ice today, so all conversation must involve him or the other carrier of Edmonton's offence.

Oilers have been great, but Vegas has been up and down to a bipolar degree.  So even money on whether that's going to be a quality game. Sens/Kings, who knows?  Sabres/Red Wings, go Detroit!!!  I have no faith in the Habs.  I expect the Panthers to spank the Kraken.

Ottawa has placed Matt Murray on waivers.  Likely cost cutting since Forsbergs numbers aren't much better.

I can't figure out if Murray just never got rolling after the wrist injury, or if he jas just regressed so much. Smith is out for a while in Edmonton, so would the Oilers take a chance?

I saw someone mention yesterday that he had Covid and it hit him hard. Aftereffects of that, possibly?

After watching the 2nd generation go at it last night I did a bit of Googling & was surprised to see that their dads never fought each other.  Kind of surprising given both the era & the roles that Dave & Keith each had.

Homemade Applejack soda

Shaken with ice, poured into glass.
Topped with Sparkling Ice Apple Cider, gently stirred and garnished with slice of apple (pink lady or Fuji)

I think it has more to do with the Sens being trash.

If my reckoning is correct, they are the first team to hold the Crap Mantle for the second time in the season, as well as holing it for the longest - 6 game streak versus Chicago's 5 games. Of course, Vancouver's playing them in a couple of nights.

Yeah, our not-connected to the NHL store lists the men's, just sold out, but at least they admit it exists.  And given their inventory system, there's probably one in every store (their inventory tracker is terrible)

Unsurprising, something had to give. Their play of late is beyond bad, badder than the late 90s, early 2000s bad.

Yeah, the consensus opinion I've heard is that they would have missed the playoffs 5 seasons in a row if it weren't for the special COVID rules.

What size are you looking for?  Most you're willing to pay?  In my travels around the internet I don't specifically look for those but do occasionally run across others so it wouldn't be 'that' big a deal to try to remember to look for an AZ one too.  Hopefully I/we could point you in the right direction before they're sold out.

Might be for assistant GM to start and moving up the GM when Bergevin decides he want to step aside.

2XL is most likely to fit, of course I'm trying to lose weight after my recent health scare. But it does seem like they're all gone (which is insanely stupid of the league)

OK, I've had my fill of college football for now. On to hockey.

Who to watch? The Leafs have the night off, so go Seattle (I want Florida to lose), and Pittsburgh (I want the Habs to continue to fail). Most of the other games I don't care too much about.

I guess I'll crack a beer and channel surf.

Go hockey!

Very intriguing situation in Montreal.  We know Scott Mellanby is out.  He resigned. We know there's interest in Jeff Gorton. Geoff Molson is running point on this and it's believed, Gorton is targeted for a very substantial hockey operations position.

Oilers scored 2 in less than 2 minutes late in the first to take a 2-0 lead in Vegas. RNH and Hyman scored the goals.
