Trump also claimed that China was pouring millions of dollars in tariffs into the U.S. Treasury - but it is in fact American importers who pay tariffs, not China. A study in 2019 estimated that Trump's trade war was costing U.S. companies and consumers $3 billion a month.

Yeah, but he was used to Fox and other sycophants sucking him off only showing/talking about the good parts of those interviews.

So Woodward's a con man and Milley's a dumba** -- OK -- so who's the dumba** who gave unfettered access, almost, to the former, and hired the later?

Trump never seems to consider that anyone would ask that obvious question when he carries on about former employees or associates.

So the moron gave several interviews with Woodward that were recorded and just blabbed on his favorite subject himself. He then gets mad because he used what he said to write a book and it made him look bad. Like how he didn't want to admit how bad covid was in order to save the stock market, fark the little people.

Shostie: Didn't he willingly sit down with Woodward for multiple interviews?

Multiple interviews for MULTIPLE BOOKS.  It's like Trump forgot Woodward had already written two unflattering books about him, for which Trump was interviewed.  For one book, Trump heard some noise about the book coming out and called Woodward with notes.  He had ideas for things to highlight in the book.  The book had already gone to press and Trump called the author with changes, like Trump was the co-author.

Oh, it's still pretty sad. Fat Donny is like that little kid who always shows up in the background of on-scene teevee reporting at major car wrecks or multiple mass murders, jumping around and flashing meaningless hand signs at the camera with a huge grin on his face.

I would be so proud to have one of those US Marshall's as relative.  No brazen guns, just the implied authority of the US government working towards making equality a thing.  Now we have farking Ben Garrison trying to do something similar...in a very perverse way.  It's sad.

One of my uncles who served in Vietnam (and beyond) was very proud to tell me how many very dear and dedicated friends he made that were black.  I was at a loss.

"Congratulations, you've learned racism sucks" seemed like a poor answer.

So did the question: "My dearest Uncle, you were accepting of brotherhood from people in a war zone on your side, from your country, because they had your back, I don't know how you would have treated them before.  How were you raised?"

Or another nonstarter:  "Uncle, given that you had TRIAD(?) medical insurance for your wife, who got the absolute best medical care possible, for years, would you support that for every American family?

Man who swore to uphold and defend the Constitution never got as far as the First Amendment.

He really thought Bob Woodward was going to be so awed by his genius and so grateful to be allowed in his presence that he would write a love letter to him. Trump is the dumbest person ever.

He STILL has no idea how any of this works. He refuses to read, refuses to listen to advice from people who know what they're talking about, and makes spot decisions, based on his "gut instinct". None of his f*ckups should come as a surprise.

How the man is not living under a freeway overpass, I don't know. Maybe he's clever as a sh*thouse rat. But sooner or later his luck will run out.

What truly pisses me off are the reporters, staffers, hangers on who were privy to bad behavior and said nothing until much later, when they have a book coming out.

"OMG just wait until you read my expose on how bad it was and how close we came to nuking Botswana, or just saying fark it and letting the entire nation die of Covid, or planned to lynch Pence and the majority of the legislative branch.  Yes I could have said something back which might have prevented the next attempted destruction.  But I wasn't ready to fully profit from my information l"

This statement should be admissible in all of his upcoming trials.

When he's got no one to do those things for him, that's all he's got. I'm actually curious to how long he would survive without his staff or people backing him.
I would give him a week, and that's being generous.

I don't spend a lot (<50% anyway) thinking of a state funeral for TFG.

I have questions. Like would Rocket Man pay his respects? They were in love, TFG trading notes back and forth and such.
Are we, the citizens ever going to get to see them?

Could the Proud Bois be walking alongside the carriage? We probably don't need the rider less horse, he was never really on it, and he couldn't get on it anyway, without a hoist.

Would other nations send the heads of state, or a junior assistant Secretary of State?

Could the family charge admission to visit grave?

Maybe I do spend too much time pondering those questions and more.
