Yeah, like the Beavers can beat...well anyone (I know, I know, they are having a decent season this year).

Oh...wait, you mean that other OSU, back in the boonies.   :)  Okay, there are two in the boonies, but is this the one that insists on "THE"?

Who will retain custody of his soiled khaki pants after the game?

Well, duh.  Who else are they going to get that would be better?

I look forward to Woody Hayes post game "I have never beaten my betters" montage, as has become a Fark tradition.

The Smails Kid: Gotta play the game first, boys.

Always, though if the two seasons are any indication, I'd bet OSU wins by about 9.

Michigan has three wins by 7 or less that really shouldn't have been that close (5-6 Rutgers by 7, 3-9 Nebraska by 3, 7-4 PSU by 4). One loss to MSU, no wins against the current AP Top 25.

Ohio State has no wins by 7 or less, closest being 9 point wins against Nebraska and #20 PSU. One loss, to presently #12 Oregon. Wins against #20 PSU, #19 Purdue, #8 MSU.

Yeah, you need to play the game, but this is one I can't see going down to the wire like 2006 did. Gut says tight early, then OSU takes it by between 9 and 12.

I think it is cute that Michigan fans still have hope. I have hope for Michigan too.Because the Raiders are looking for a head coach and I dont want Harbaugh to be out of work at this time

The stars are aligned for a Michigan win in this one. I might bet some lunch money on it.

I'm going to try and watch the game this year, which means OSU will probably lose. You're welcome Michigan fans.

He signed a contract extension to 2025. He can, and will, lose to Ohio State by a million points, and it won't matter. There's no better option and the AD is dumb as fark

kukukupo: Well, duh.  Who else are they going to get that would be better?

This point not only bears repeating, it needs to be screamed. If a program has a coach who has gone 10-3, 10-3, 8-5, 10-3, and 9-4 (COVID 2020 doesn't count for sports), and then is discussing his job security in a season where, so far, his team has lost one game, that program deserves to become a dumpster fire.

I'd suggest the people in Ann Arbor make a phone call to the people in Lincoln to see how that works out.

If what it takes to beat your rival is to stoop to their level and hire a Jim Tressel or Urban Meyer... well, there are worse things than 10-3.

I love that Penn State counts as ranked when they play Ohio State but not when the play Michigan and that Wisconsin doesn't actually exist in your world.

I have no ties to the University of Nebraska, never even visited Nebraska, but when they fired Frank Solich after a nine win season I took great pleasure in watching Bill Callahan crater that program and then watch he and the AD get fired.  That was a raw deal.

A friend of mine has a theory that Finebaum got butt-hurt when Harbaugh had camps in the south/SEC country and hasn't gotten over it.

Kinda makes sense. I generally like finebaum, especially when he talks sec because that's his specialty, obviously. But anytime he's involved in a discussion about UM it's just cringeworthy.

I believe now that Stroud is the Heisman favorite after that performance, and still only a Freshman. If he dominates Xichigan tomorrow, he'll win the Heisman.

They fired the one coach that did beat Ohio State in the last 15 years.
