So who are they eyeing for 2023?

151: So who are they eyeing for 2023?

Brewers exec David Stearns. One theory I've seen is that the Mets have had trouble finding execs because everyone knows they want Stearns once his contract is up.

So this then goes down as, either they overpay ridiculously for Stearns because of this fact, or Stearns realizes it's the Mets, who just let Thor go and will almost certainly do even more Mets things, and say "no thanks" after they all but throw naked USC Song Girls at him.  But hey, free Song Girls.

Letting Thor go is... alright.

21 is a lot of money for him, and they're on the hook for Cano for the next two years.

Wait...The GM of the Angels (who are about to or have signed Thor for $21mm, a guy who needs a crash cart to follow him around the facility) has just been hired as GM for the team he just signed Thor from?

I'm not saying it's aliens...but is anyone looking around the grassy knoll for Jimmy Hoffa on this?
