If the police captured him, they'll confiscate all his weapons, fine him 10% of his cash, and he'll be out in 8 hours.
Then he can go jack another car, and hire a hooker to replace whatever health he lost fighting with the cops.

/ and obviously run over the hooker with the car once she gets out and take his money back.

Go big or go home.

Seriously, if you're going to crime it up, not much of a difference between a $100 robbery at a McDonald's and a theft of a $1m artwork from an artwork gallery, other than some time planning.

/not advocating, just pointing out what should be obvious
//two, because f*ck you, that's why.

Normal cash can be spent, but you need to fence other goods.

Cash is better.

Hence, where I said "some time planning"

Artwork thefts have a crew, a plan, and style, because it's the story the rich person pays for.

A $1m painting?   No, they pay that for a story of how they put together a crew, stole it and got away with it.

A staggering amount of art theft is casual, actually. As long as you don't go for the featured exhibits, you can make off with millions.

And approximately 90% of art thefts are not recovered.

I sometimes like to translate realtor speak to plain English. Years ago, right after moving to Colorado I found one of those realtor magazines describing the various Denver neighborhoods. You know, stuff like "the casual sophistication of Cherry Creek", which of course translates to "you probably can't afford it." Aurora was described as "fast paced urban lifestyle". 'Nuff said.

No one claimed legalization would end all crime.  And before anyone tries to blame this on legalized marijuana I'd just point out that violent crime is on the rise pretty much nationwide.

It seemed to almost happen over night.  My Buddy, his girlfriend and 2 other friends got hit by a car downtown..they sped off. Seems Denver is the hit and run capitol of the US
But yeah, Aurora has a king soopers that you enter at your own risk.
