"Hey, you gonna buy something here or what? We're a store, not a museum. Pick it out, pick it out."

The owner of a small town hardware store I went to said "Pick it out, pick it out" all the time.

I don't like this future. Can I get a different one?

Anyone who thinks we're anywhere near to not being able to tell chatbots apart from humans is hanging around with the wrong humans.

Or has not had to deal with a cell service provider support in a long time.

Now I'm going to have to change eyes every week, what a hassle.
Worse once my AI finds out. "It's time to change your eyes! Have you changed your eyes yet?"

Nag, nag , nag

The most you'll get from AI right now is "What aisle is x in?", and even then it'll get it wrong more than half the time because nobody updated the software after shifting around their stock. All they can do now is have the AI run the same search engine they have on their web page. That same engine gives you 3000 hits for a product they only sell one model of. And all of this assumes the voice recognition works better than a piece of shiat with an embedded microphone.

"Your performance in bed last night was pretty sub-par.  The flower section is three aisles over, might I recommend our 'Will You Forgive Me?' bouquet?"
